Releasing earlier this year on PC, Football Manager 21 was yet another success for the coveted sports simulation franchise, bagging an 85 on Metacritic. This year’s entry also saw the franchise take a substantial new step, porting the release over to consoles for the first time in a decade with Football Manager 21: Xbox Edition.
To celebrate such a monumental occasion for both Football Manager’s biggest fans and its developers, the team over at Sports Interactive is offering a celebratory prize for a select number of lucky franchise aficionados. Everyone who signs up to FMFC – a Football Manager information site that provides member-only rewards and feature drops – will be in with a chance of winning five custom controllers. They’ll want to be fast though, as the competition closes at midnight tonight in the UK (which equates to roughly 4 PM PT).
The controllers in question sport Football Manager 21‘s striped purple and green color scheme, with the game’s logo on the right grip. It’ll be a solid addition to any player’s lineup of controllers and a great way to start off a manager career on the game’s newly released Xbox edition. Of course, that’s not to say that the controller couldn’t also be a steal for hardcore PC players that aren’t currently considering getting an Xbox Series X, with the controller also working with the game’s standard PC edition.
The process of signing up on FMFC is pretty painless, asking players what platform they usually enjoy Football Manager on and then requiring them to input some personal details. Once that’s done, they only have to verify their email address and they’ll be entered with a chance. of winning As for what else is available on the site, players can get access to rewards, news updates, and keep up to date on everything going on in the world of Football Manager 2021. As mentioned earlier, the competition isn’t on for too much longer, although already existing members of FMFC are automatically entered into the draw.
Football Manager 2021 has had a pretty successful few weeks since its launch, with players loving the opportunity to jump back into the series’ staple simulator gameplay and begin managing their own squads of iconic players.
