We’ll see more of Dragon Age 4 at The Game Awards

BioWare has released four new short stories and pieces of artwork, too.

Our next look of BioWare’s Dragon Age 4 will be at next week’s The Game Awards.

That’s according to the developer, who revealed that we’ll be seeing more of the eagerly-anticipated fantasy RPG at the show, which is taking place on December 10.

This comes alongside BioWare revealing four short stories, as well as accompanying pieces of art, that were written by the franchise’s narrative team. These will also apparently give an idea about what the future of the Dragon Age series is going to be.

Bryanna Battye wrote The Next One, while the Ruins of Reality was penned by John Dombrow. Meanwhile, Mary Kirby is behind The Wake, as well as Minrathous Shadows by Sheryl Chee.

This, apparently, is to celebrate Dragon Age Day, which apparently is a thing and takes place on December 4.

Dragon Age 4 was teased at The Game Awards back in 2018 before being properly shown off at fellow Geoff Keighley event The Gamescom Opening Night Live in August of this year.

BioWare was previously working on another version of Dragon Age 4 before being rebooted in late 2017. This version of the game would have cast players as a group of spies engaging in heists.

The news that we’ll be seeing more of Dragon Age 4 at The Game Awards comes as BioWare’s studio manager Casey Hudson has announced his departure from the developer. Dragon Age executive producer Mike Darrah is also retiring, with BioWare Austin’s studio director Christian Dailey taking over as Dragon Age’s executive producer.
