Call of Duty: Warzone is certainly a challenging game, with players getting better and discovering new strategies as the game evolves. However, one Call of Duty: Warzone streamer took out his frustrations in an insane way, as he fired the entire magazine of a real-life gun out of his window following an in-game death.
Going by the name Faze sWiisH, the player clearly let the Call of Duty: Warzone match get the best of them. While the players teammate in the Duos game could have won the Call of Duty: Warzone match or, at the very least, spawned Faze sWiisH back into the game, the streamer had already given up and left his chair. Walking back toward his room’s window, the player began loading the gun that he would soon fire in front of a live audience.
While Call of Duty: Warzone players have shared frustration regarding cheaters, bugs, and mechanics, few can say that they vented their anger in the same way as this streamer. After inserting the magazine into the pistol, the gamer fired the weapon out his window, spending the entire clip before tossing the weapon down. In an even more confusing twist, the player returned to their seat, putting back on the headset like nothing out if the ordinary had happened.
The player’s in-game partner seemed as confused as anyone else by the moment, saying “what in God’s name” after hearing the gunfire. The clip was quickly shared on social media pages and forums, with the LivestreamFail subreddit being particularly interested in the confusing moment. However, while some joked about the Call of Duty: Warzone fan or called him unstable, many more commenters seemed concerned with the player possibly injuring someone with the unnecessary gunshots.
Thankfully, the Call of Duty player likely did not hurt anyone, as Reddit user Througheur57 searched through the user’s Instagram to find that he “lives in the middle of nowhere.” With the player shooting out into a completely vacant field, nobody was likely injured by the tantrum. However, like the Redditor points out, it was dark outside so there was no way that the player could “see for sure that there is nobody down range.” Regardless of how risky it was to shoot the weapon, though, the streamer’s reaction to an in-game death is certainly extraordinary.
As of now, it is unclear what action will be taken against the streamer for firing the gun on camera. While there is certainly the possibility of a ban on Twitch, nothing official has been said about the Call of Duty: Warzone streamer and the clip thus far.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S.
