Of the many successful titles that have either released or will release in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is one that members of the gaming community have been looking forward to for a number of years now. Considering how close Cyberpunk 2077 is to release, there’s still a number of things that have yet to be revealed regarding the game. Though a recent leak showcases the in-game map and it is quite extensive, to say the least.
If there’s one thing about Cyberpunk 2077 that fans have known about for years now is the fact that the size and scope of the game are tremendous. Cyberpunk 2077’s map has been compared to some of the biggest maps in gaming and is an important reason why a lot of members are the gaming community are looking to purchase this game. While the map itself has been available for some time now, it hasn’t shown fans everything the game is capable of.
An image leaked has leaked online that showcases Cyberpunk 2077’s in-game map and while the map is as large as CD Projekt Red has been teasing it to be, what’s even more surprising is how populated the in-game map is with mission markers, locations, and icons. The image itself doesn’t provide any sort of explanation as far as mission types go, but it does show a high level of variance in terms of in-game content.
It was fairly obvious that the game would feature a lot of content considering that Cyberpunk 2077 ships on two PS4 discs and has a game file size of over 70 GB, but clearly there’s a difference between discussing the content and physically seeing it laid out in the game itself. Although, sometimes too much content can lead to problems in terms of the overall experience.
With so much content laid out in the game world, some players could feel a bit overwhelmed and might feel at a loss in terms of how to approach the game. If that turns out to be the case, then it may be best for them to purchase the Cyberpunk 2077 strategy guidebook that releases on the same day as the game.
In any case, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the game to release, but the excitement for the game has certainly risen within the last several weeks. Cyberpunk 2077 PC pre-orders have been topping sales charts weeks ahead of the game’s worldwide release. The attention and excitement this game has drawn within the last several years is definitely beginning to pay itself forward.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on December 10th, 2020 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S adaptations currently in development.
