One of the more unique suits in Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the S.T.R.I.K.E suit. Although there are suits that look very neat or change the gameplay, like the Spider-Cat backpack suit, the S.T.R.I.K.E suit is different in that it truly looks distinctive, almost like it is from a different game entirely.
With Spider-Man: Miles Morales now being out for almost a month, some concept art from the game is starting to trickle out. One recent tweet shows what the S.T.R.I.K.E suit looked like during the conceptual phase.
Dave Rapoza is a freelance illustrator and artist who works specifically on concept and comic art. Rapoza took to Twitter to showcase what he worked on with Insomniac Games on the Spider-Man game. The final product is arguably one of the best suits in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and the concept art shows why this is the case.
The Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse suit is one that gets a lot of attention from fans, as does the aforementioned Spider-Cat suit. It’s very interesting to see the game’s framerate change to suit the Spiderverse film, or have the cat help with beating up bad guys. But some of the other suits are special in that they simply have a unique and clean style, one that feels very much like a comic book suit. This is the case with the S.T.R.I.K.E suit, which is unlocked at level 10 and costs 16 Activity Tokens and 2 Tech Parts to craft.
The concept art reminds fans of the work that goes into a game like Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It is nice to see the artist getting some attention for their hard work, as the tweet is sitting just shy of 6,000 likes at the time of writing.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available now on PS4 and PS5.
