The next lineup of Xbox Game Pass additions have been announced and one of them is Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. The game will headline Game Pass in December alongside a couple of more additions that should make fans excited.
This year’s The Game Awards was brimming with announcements from team Xbox, including some big surprises such as the reveal of The Initiative’s Perfect Dark reboot, which has been rumored for years. Additionally, players got a brand new trailer for Xbox console exclusive Scarlet Nexus and a Halo and Fortnite crossover, that fans have been speculating about for a long time.
A new trailer for Xbox Game Pass also showed off its upcoming lineup which includes the Yakuza Remastered Collection (Yakuza 3, 4, and 5) and Yakuza 6, both of which will be available on January 28, 2021, and March 25, 2021, respectively. Additionally, this year’s popular multiplayer title Among Us is also headed to Game Pass PC. Microsoft’s budget-friendly subscription service will also see the addition of Bethesda’s beloved The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim that hits consoles on December 15. With mod support and all the expansion packs, Skyrim Special Edition makes for a substantial addition to Game Pass. Moreover, new players can also get three months of Game Pass Ultimate subscription right now at $1.
Skyrim isn’t the only Bethesda title to be available on Game Pass, however. Games like Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein Young Blood, Dishonored 2, Fallout 76 and The Elder Scrolls Online are already available for the users to play. This number is bound to increase in years to come with the addition of upcoming titles such as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, which are already confirmed to be on Game Pass day one.
With the addition of EA play, which is also headed to PC on December 15, and other substantial additions such as Greedfall and Control, Xbox Game Pass continues to be the best deal in gaming and Skyrim is just an icing to the cake. As the holiday season looms, Game Pass users will have an ample amount of time to spend in the vast and expansive provinces of Skyrim, which is one of the greatest open-world games of all time.
The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim is now available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
