World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is set in the afterlife of Azeroth, and the whole new map is scattered with treasure chests. There’s the Bastion Thenios Chest, the Mistveil Enchanted chests, and the very well hidden Bonebound Chest in Maldraxxus.
Like all the other named chests in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the fastest selling PC game ever, the Bonebound Chest is filled with some serious loot. Players can nab such treasures as money, Coins of Brokerage, Beasts and How to Eat Them: Volume I, Keepsake of the First Conflict, Manual of Bonebending Methods, and purples. The loot inside is randomized for each player.
The chest is located all the way to the southwestern-most part of Maldraxxus. Near the House of Chosen, there is an elite-filled area called Unfallen’s Sanctum. The cave entrances for the three possible locations of the chest are here, in Ragebringer Terrace. The caves are located around 37.86, 76.27.
Once at the Ragebringer Terrace, players will find three entrances to caves. They will all have identical rounded doorways, tall with pointed archways across the tops. These are the three possible locations for the Bonebound Chest in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.
Players will know which cave to enter based on where the icon is location on their map. If it is in the doorway to the left of the player, they will have to enter the cave, then turn left at the level 61 Elite Atrok the Ashen, who is hammering on an anvil. Be very careful not to pull everything along the way; some of these enemies are extremely deadly. Players may want to bring along one of the best healers in Shadowlands to help them through. The second possible route is a little further south on the map. Here is a video showing the second route; the Bonebound chest is right inside the cave entrance, next to the chained pot.
There appears to be a third location, but it is currently unknown where the chest will spawn. It is somewhere in the network of caves to the right of the Terrace. Regardless of which chest location players end up with, getting the chest is a lot harder than just finding the location. Other than Atrok the Ashen, the mobs in that area include Chosen Ragebounds in large packs along with their rides. Even the best DPS specs with matching best Shadowlands Covenants will have some trouble here. So be careful while exploring this cave to find the chest.
