Season 5 is going full steam ahead in Fortnite, with new content and new challenges for players to tackle. The season kicked off with a substantial crossover with The Mandalorian, and has plans for several other collaborations in the future. With a new season, players also get a number of new daily challenges to tackle, one of which involves planting evidence in one of two locations on the map.
A new season of Fortnite is always a boon for the game, as players return to see what the latest buzz is all about. After the events of Season 4 altered the map, there are new places to explore, and new challenges to complete. One thing the team at Epic Games does well in Fortnite is offer up a lot of little things that players can do to pass time. With 40 new character skins to be found, tracking down all the NPCs that hold these skins is a fun little challenge.
One of these new challenges involves planting evidence in either Catty Corner or Flush Factory, and it can be a little tricky to find just the right spot. Sometimes players are retrieving evidence in Misty Meadows, sometimes it’s planting evidence. These quests have players working both angles.
In Catty Corner, there are three locations players must find to plant the evidence and complete the challenge.
- The first location is on the east side of the gas station in Catty Corner, past the pumps, tucked in next to the convenience store portion of the station. Players are looking for a semi-transparent pile of junk, which indicates where evidence should be placed.
If players would rather plant evidence in Flush Factory, here are the three locations to complete the challenge.
- In the larger of the two factory buildings, if players enter from the front door into the reception area of the factory, the evidence marker is there in front of the reception desk.
Quests are quick and easy ways to earn a little experience, and if leveling up fast in Fortnite is the player’s goal, completing these challenges is part of the formula to make that happen.
After a huge announcement at The Game Awards, fans have seen Halo and Walking Dead content drop into Fortnite, and players will want to be leveled up to take full advantage of the new stuff.
Fortnite is available now for Mac, Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
