Now that Cyberpunk 2077 has finally released, players from all over the world have begun to explore Night City and interact with the denizens that the game has to offer. Cyberpunk 2077 is populated with a cacophony of memorable characters and NPCs to choose from, and already fans have begun to show their appreciation for these characters through a variety of mediums.
Although the game has only been out for four days, fans of the game have already grown attached to plenty of characters featured throughout Cyberpunk 2077, with characters like Johnny Silverhand taking center stage for most of the game’s narrative. That isn’t to say that Keanu Reeves’ character is the only fan-favorite character to come from the game.
Judy Alvarez has quickly become popular among fans of the game and led a talented, Ukrainian cosplayer named Anastasiya Dryomova to cosplay as Judy. The cosplay is extremely detailed, to say the very least. Everything about it, from the hairstyle to the rainbow-colored gradation in her hair is on point compared to how the character looks in the game.
It’s amazing how fast fans can work, especially for a game that’s been commercially available for such a short amount of time. Then again, the gaming community has been aware of Judy for quite some time now, with a Cyberpunk 2077 trailer dedicated to Judy releasing several months before the game got published. Thus, Dryomova likely had ample time to get the cosplay ready before finally showing it off to the general public.
While this cosplay is an excellent example of fan appreciation for the game, there has been plenty of fan made creations involving Cyberpunk 2077 to have released in the last couple of months. Back in late September, one fan managed to create a version of The Witcher character Ciri in Cyberpunk 2077‘s style.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what CD Projekt Red will take Cyberpunk 2077. According to a secret message hidden in the Cyberpunk 2077 launch trailer, the game will be receiving DLC expansions in the near future, but right now it is impossible to know what that will look like. Whether that’s DLC campaigns similar to the ones featured in The Witcher 3, or perhaps cosmetic items or guns, there’s just no way to know right now. Though, hopefully, the community will be able to see more cosplays of the same quality as this one further down the road.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development.
