Cyberpunk 2077 enables a wide variety of playstyles based on how players build their character. This goes beyond the typical meaning of the phrase, as players can not only create specific builds with stats and skills but can quite literally build cybernetic enhancements into their characters. The Gorilla Arms are a powerful cybernetic melee weapon, and the legendary Animals Knuckles mod makes them even more deadly.
Players focusing on this type of hand to hand combat character would be remiss to play the game without Animals Knuckles, as they provide a powerful upgrade to the already impressive Gorilla Arms. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t make it very obvious where players can get this mod, though, so it helps to know where to look.
At the moment, the best way to get the Animals Knuckles mod seems to be to just buy them, and there’s at least one Ripperdoc store that sells the mod outright. Naturally, this is a bit expensive, so players running short on eurodollars should be sure to spend some time farming money in Cyberpunk 2077.
The Ripperdoc in question is in the Charter Hill area, directly next to the Luxury Apartments fast travel location. After warping there, players should be able to see the building from where they’re standing, and can locate it by finding the neon “Medical Assistance” sign above the door. Once inside, talk to the Ripperdoc, Nina Kraviz. After equipping the Gorilla Arms, head over to the trade tab and locate the legendary mod called Animals Knuckles.
Buying these will put the player back a pretty penny, as they cost 5,000 eurodollars, but they will make melee combat significantly easier. After making the purchase, quit out and enter the Cyberware inventory to apply the mod, but be weary that the mod can’t be easily removed once it is installed. Equipping it makes the fists also cause internal bleeding, which will result in a huge increase in damage per second if used properly.
Of course, players will have to choose which cyber arm they’d like to equip, as there are other powerful weapons aside from the Gorilla Arms such as the Monowire or one of Cyberpunk 2077‘s most iconic weapons, the Mantis Blades. Each of these weapons take up the player’s arm slot and cater towards different playstyles, so it’s up to each person to decide which fits them best. Regardless, this legendary mod will certainly make the Gorilla Arms perform better.
