During Nintendo’s Indie World showcase today, players had the opportunity to see a plethora of new indie titles coming soon to their Nintendo Switch. While some games like Among Us and Spelunky 2 already have a sort of audience behind them, there were several games shown that were previously unknown quantities.
One of the games that was unveiled at this briefing was the new title from Toyful Games and Playful called Very Very Valet. In this game, players find themselves in the role of a valet that looks as though it came straight from The Muppets. However, valeting alone seems like an extremely lonely and chaotic experience, but thankfully the game features up to four player couch co-op.
From one look at the trailer for Very Very Valet, players will likely get a sense that it is looking at games like Overcooked for inspiration when it comes to the party co-op experience. Games like Overcooked, Gang Beasts, and Fall Guys come with an inherent level of “easy to learn, difficult to master.” This gameplay philosophy seems prevalent throughout the Very Very Valet trailer and will likely have players recounting their wild encounters for years to come afterwards.
It’s likely because of this chaotic couch co-op experience that Very Very Valet will be arriving first on Nintendo Switch as a timed exclusive launch. Toyful Games is anticipating the game to release on the Nintendo platform in early 2021. It’s currently unclear how long it will be until the game arrives on other platforms, but it seems safe to say players will be keeping an eye out for it.
Very Very Valet will release in early 2021 on Nintendo Switch
