Call of Duty: Warzone Recon Glitch Reveals Final Circle Easily

Call of Duty: Warzone players have been dealing with glitches and bugs for some time, ranging from mildly frustrating to entirely game-breaking. This latest Call of Duty: Warzone bug discovery leans closer to the latter category, as it gives players a major advantage by revealing the final circle early.

While not as noticeably broken as Call of Duty: Warzone’s infinite ammo bug, this final circle glitch could ruin numerous matches in the long run. Allowing teams to set up in the final circle early and lock down the location ahead of time, those making use of the bug have a huge chance of winning the game due to the all-important positioning factor. If players want to make use of the exploit, or stop cheating players, they will have to make their way to Verdansk’s train.

Always on the move, Call of Duty: Warzone’s train has caused losses for players while winning matches for others. Added back in Season 5, the unique dropping point is almost always a source of early conflict in the battle royale’s matches. If players can survive that first fight, however, they are well on the way to victory. As shown in a video from YouTuber Stone Mountain Plays, picking up the train’s Recon contract will kick off the effective final circle exploit, making the trick extremely easy for players to pull off.

The Recon contract will always lead to a location somewhere on the train, meaning players will not have to go far to complete the objective and acquire the foresight ability. However, the glitch comes from another Recon contract spawning on as soon as the previous one is finished, meaning that players can keep farming the train’s Recon objective until they see all the circles on the map — including the final one. With players unable to stop Call of Duty: Warzone’s train, squads using the exploit should be unstoppable if they keep the area locked down.

While not quite as disastrous as Call of Duty: Warzone’s other contract bug, as this glitch does not crash games entirely, there is no denying that it could have a major impact on matches of the popular battle royale. How long it takes for the exploit to be fixed remains to be seen, though players are free to use it for now to get an early glimpse at the final circle.

With Infinity Ward needing to manage Call of Duty: Warzone’s integration with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as well as the addition of Rebirth Island, it could be a while before the bug is removed. As such, everyone fighting in Verdansk should be wary of the extra power now held on the map’s train.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
