Halo: The Master Chief Collection Trailer Hypes ‘The Ultimate Halo Experience’

Microsoft releases a new trailer showcasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection as the ‘Ultimate Halo Experience.’ Posted on the Xbox YouTube, the video highlights pristine cinematics and gameplay of all the games in the collection.

When Halo: The Master Chief Collection came out in 2014 for Xbox One, it was meant to be the one stop shop for Halo games. The developers, 343 Industries, promised an anthology including all the major Halo games from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 4. Since that time, the collection has continuously seen updates tweaking and improving the overall experience.

All the updates culminate in this trailer promoting Halo: The Master Chief Collection as the ultimate Halo experience. According to the video, the collection comes with every campaign, Forge improvements, and over a whopping 120 multiplayer maps. The game is also cross-generation and cross-play, so fans who are still playing on an older console will not be left out.

To live up to “the ultimate Halo experience,” this collection should host true upgrades to visuals and performance. Thankfully, Halo: The Master Chief Collection boasts 4K graphics and 120 frames per second. There is a field of view slider too, which gives players control over their perspective of the beautiful worlds. And in case anyone was unsure, the collection has upgrades for PC and Xbox Series X|S as well.

Despite taking six years, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is now the best way to play the series. This collection is one of the few that brings a series into the modern times and continues to improve it. Hosting six games in the collection and an incredible number of multiplayer maps, interested players will have plenty to do after booting it up. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is also available on Game Pass, so even gamers on the fence can easily dive into one of the best first-person shooters in history.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection saw less than desirable reception during the original release. The multiplayer experienced a host of issues preventing players from enjoying the primary selling point of Halo. The fact that it has taken 343 Industries over half a decade to get the game to “ultimate” status may come a little too late for some fans. Delayed to late 2021, Halo Infinite is looking somewhat rocky too, so others may view the collection as merely a diversion. Whatever the case may be, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is an epic experience for players new and old.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
