After many long years, Cyberpunk 2077 fans can finally get their hands on the game and explore all that Night City has to offer. And while there are plenty of technical issues with Cyberpunk 2077, some fans are willing to push through the game and enjoy it.
Players of Cyberpunk 2077 will likely notice that the game offers a wide variety of guns and mods. From submachine guns, shotguns, and melee weapons, gamers can set up their arsenal to fit their specific playstyle in Cyberpunk 2077.
The amount of guns in Cyberpunk 2077 that the game throws at players can seem overwhelming at first, but narrowing it down to brands can prove helpful. So for fans looking for tips on which guns to go for first, here is a guide on some of the game’s best weapons.
The Divided We stand rifle can be acquired by finishing the “Stadium Love” sidequest in Cyberpunk 2077. Players can choose to either complete the target practice challenge and score 44 points, or kill everyone in the area and take the gun for themselves. The rifle has a unique ability to aim at up to five targets at once, proving useful for tough bounties with rooms full of enemies.
The Overwatch Sniper is one of the more reliable Cyberpunk 2077 snipers that can be found if players can save Saul during the “Riders on the Storm” side quest. The Overwatch sniper is great because it has a useful silencer, great stats, and a quick reload speed.
The Skippy smart pistol can be found near the south of College St. metro station in Heywood on the question mark. The gun has a built-in AI program that scales the damage stat to increase as the player gets stronger.
Skippy has two modes, a “Stone Cold Killer mode” and a “Puppy-Loving Pacifist mode.” Stone Cold Killer mode helps the players score constant headshots, while Pacifist mode only goes for the legs. The only precaution players need to know is that no matter what mode they choose, Skippy will permanently switch to the other one after 50 kills, so players should choose the mode they don’t like first.
The Gold-Plated baseball bat is hidden in the pool at Denny’s villa during the “Second Conflict” mission. The melee weapon has incredibly high base damage for a nonlethal weapon and has the chance to give enemies stun and bleed effects.
The Widow Maker is a rifle that can be looted off Nash’s corpse during the “Ghost Town” mission. The rifle has great damage per second and fires off additional rounds, like a shotgun. The Widow Maker also has the chance to poison enemies.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and later on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
