Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Best Skills In The Body Tree | Game Rant

Body is one of the attributes that players can choose to enhance in Cyberpunk 2077. If someone wants to focus on raw physical power and tanking hits then this skill tree is for them. Adding points into the Body attribute will increase a player’s health, stamina, and damage with the Gorilla Arms.

Along with that, the attribute increases the blunt melee weapon damage and decreases the movement penalty when grappling an enemy. This skill tree is broken down into three sections: Athletics, Annihilation, and Street Brawler. Each tree offers different perks that can greatly benefit the player over the game.

10 Marathoner

Looking into the Athletics skill tree, players will notice the Marathoner skill. This skill is perhaps one of the best to use in general around the map, especially when using melee weapons. This skill makes it so sprinting no longer consumes stamina, allowing the player to run indefinitely.

Melee builds will notice how quickly stamina can be used up while running from one enemy to the next while also beating them senseless. This perk at least takes the running portion out of the equation. It can also be used to run around the map easier whenever a car is unavailable.

9 Steel Shell

Useful in all builds, Steel Shell is a perk that many players grab to help them in combat. This perk increases the player’s armor by an additional ten percent. Free armor is always good armor and it’s necessary when taking down enemies.

Other perks have the potential to stack on top of this one, allowing the Body attribute to really help the player with survivability. As a bonus, players can grab the Human Shield perk if they like grappling enemies. It stacks an additional twenty percent to armor.

8 Regeneration

Let’s face it, health is a necessity if a player doesn’t want to flatline while surrounded by a group of enemies. Health Regeneration helps that slightly by giving players, well, Health Regeneration.

Health will constantly regenerate while in combat. This perk is rated as one of the best no matter what build a player is running. As a bonus, this perk can also be grabbed early on. The only requirement is to have a level three in the Body attribute.

7 Indestructible

Players who want to max out the Body attribute will love the Indestructible perk. Run into battle with guns blazing and bullets flying while damage is being dealt. Many of the fights in the game will have multiple enemies charging the player.

Indestructible helps alleviate the pain of dodging attacks by decreasing the damage they leave by a solid ten percent. That may not sound like a lot, but every little bit helps when taking hits from multiple sources. This combines well with other skills that help get that health back.

6 Dead Center

Headshots aren’t always a guarantee. When enemies start swarming and a player is caught in the heat of the battle, it’s sometimes best to just hit them wherever. Dead Center helps when headshots are hard to get by increasing the damage a player deals to an enemy’s torso.

Sure there are other perks that increase damage, but nothing beats the additional twenty percent that this perk brings. Stack the damage up high and aim for the enemy’s center.

5 Skeet Shooter

Enemies move, that is obvious. Players won’t always be going after a target who is standing still. A lot of enemies also love to charge the player with melee attacks, making them easy targets.

The Skeet Shooter perk increases the damage dealt to these enemies who choose to run around by an additional fifteen percent. When mixed with other damage increasing perks like Dead Center, this perk becomes even more powerful.

4 Speed Demon

Okay, so this is actually a couple of perks, but they are all great. To start it off, Speed Demon increases the damage a player deals the faster they move. There are a few perks that work alongside this one that make it extremely powerful.

Players who grab this perk will also want to invest in Manic, Bloodrush, and Momentum Shift. Each one of these perks increases the player’s movement speed. When combined together, players can come flying into battle dealing tons of damage.

3 Rush

Players who choose a melee build will need a little help surviving in battle. After all, they need to get up close and personal with every enemy they come across. This can take a major toll on their health bar.

Luckily, the Rush perk returns to players up to five percent of their health with each successful attack with a blunt weapon. Increasing attack speed will help get more health back at a faster rate, making Rush a particularly useful perk.

2 Payback

Payback is one of the best melee perks in the game. It increases the player’s damage with blunt weapons by one percent for each percentage of health an enemy has lost. Say the enemy has lost half of their health, that is a damage increase of 50%. No other perk can get a player’s damage that high.

This perk can also be bought multiple times. When it is maxed out, players will receive a damage buff of three percent for each percentage of health the enemy is missing. That brings the damage of blunt weapons up by a tremendous amount.

1 Frenzy

Speaking of ways to increase the damage of blunt weapons, Frenzy is another powerful perk that should always be grabbed for a melee build. This perk increases the player’s damage with blunt weapons by 100% whenever they defeat an enemy.

This bonus is limited and only lasts for ten seconds, but when mixed with the Payback perk, it turns into a deadly combination.
