Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Best Skills In The Intelligence Tree

Intelligence is a stat that appears in most RPGs and Cyberpunk 2077 is no different. Intelligence has a slightly different meaning in this game. Instead of focusing on magical abilities, intelligence in Cyberpunk focuses on technical hacking. Hacking is a big part of the new RPG. It enables V to work their way into the enemy’s head and mess with their electronics.

Each point in this tree will increase a few stats; cyberdeck RAM, quickhack damage, and quickhack duration. This attribute is broken down into two categories; Breach Protocol and Quickhacking. The skills in these categories are great for players who want to hack the world and get inside their enemy’s heads.

10 Mass Vulnerability

Quickhacking is a useful tool that can help players get a leg up on the enemy. Starting off, players get access to enemy optics, but through intelligence, they can access new hacks that can further hurt enemies. Mass Vulnerability is one of those bonus hacks that can be obtained from the intelligence skill tree. This new hack allows players to reduce the physical resistance of all enemies in the network by thirty percent for an outstanding three minutes.

9 Turret Shutdown

This perk really needs to explanation. It unlocks a new hack that allows players to access turrets and shut them down for three minutes. This works on all turrets that are connected to the same network. This perk works great for players who have a hard time dealing with those monstrous machines. They spray bullets nonstop and can really damage the player if they aren’t careful. Even though they get shut down, players will want to make sure to take care of the turrets before they come back online.

8 Turret Tamer

Turret Tamer works in the opposite way that Turret Shutdown does. Why shut down a turret when it can be used against the enemies instead? This new quickhack allows players to turn turrets friendly for three minutes. Like the Turret Shutdown perk, this perk works on every turret in the same network. This is great for areas with large groups of enemies and multiple turrets. Even one turret is enough to take out multiple enemies.

7 Buffer Optimization

Quickhacks are great and the three-minute marker is pretty standard across all of them. Sometimes that isn’t enough time to get the job done. That’s where the Buffer Optimization perk comes in. This perk increases the time of the Daemons (Turret Tamer, Mass Vulnerability, Etc.) that a player uses on enemies.

The time increase is by one-hundred percent so that three minutes goes up to six. That is a lot more time to mess the enemies up with.

6 Bloodware

Players who want to invest fully into Intelligence will want to grab the Bloodware perk when it becomes available. It increases the damage of all quickhacks by ten percent. This perk can also be bought three times which brings the increase up to thirty percent when it is fully upgraded. Enemies beware of the hacker who is dealing damage from afar without ever lifting their finger.

5 Plague

Some quickhacks work like a virus. They spread throughout the system and can affect multiple enemies. With the Plague perk, these quickhacks can jump to one additional target, making them more deadly than ever before. This is another perk that can be bought multiple times. When maxed out, Plague allows infectious quickhacks to jump to three additional targets. Grabbing this perk as soon as possible is ideal for anyone going into the Intelligence tree.

4 Head Start

The Breach Protocol mini-games can be a little challenging at times. Getting all three of the codes activated can take a lot of careful planning and the player can often end up failing at least one of them. The Head Start perk allows players to start off with the first Daemon in the bunch already uploaded. This allows for players to get at least one guaranteed Deamon uploaded to a network. After that, the other two should be much easier to get into the system.

3 Master RAM Liberator

Anyone who has branched into the hacking portion of Cyberpunk has noticed the issue with RAM. RAM is what players need to perform quickhacks. As quickhacks are performed on enemies, RAM is depleted. It takes a little while to get it back once it’s gone.

The Master RAM Liberator perk gets RAM points back fifty percent faster than normal. It also adds an additional one percent to the speed for each perk point. This is extremely useful for players who are devoted to doing as much hacking as possible.

2 Optimization

Speaking of the pains that hackers face, the Master RAM Liberator perk increases the rate that players get RAM back but it does nothing for the efficiency of hacking. The Optimization perk makes all quickhacks the player performs cost one less RAM. This should take priority over a few other perks if players delve deep into hacking. With each quickhack taking less RAM to perform, more hacks can be done on unsuspecting enemies.

1 Cloud Cache

This is another perk that helps with hacking efficiency. Players who jump into the Intelligence tree should consider performing breach protocols before going into the quickhacking. Players who decide to do this will be able to take advantage of the Cloud Cache perk. This perk decreases the cost of the players next quickhack by one RAM for each Daemon that was uploaded. Since some quickhacks can really eat away at a player’s RAM Cloud Cache can really help the player save.
