Genshin Impact was released this earlier year and is arguably one of the best RPGs of 2020. There is a unique cast of characters and various missions to keep players entertained for plenty of time.
One of the newest missions in Genshin Impact, titled “Lost in Snow,” requires the player to help a young boy named Joel find his lost father. The last place Joel remembers seeing his father is in the Dragonspine region of Genshin Impact, which features brutally cold, mountainous terrain.
Dragonspine can be confusing to players who have never been there before and don’t know how to adapt to the cold conditions. A pyro element Genshin Impact character will be vital to light fires to keep the party warm, so players wanting to help reunite the father and son can follow some tips on how to reach the summit.
Players need to head for one of the father’s last known locations near the Statue of the Seven in Dragonspine. Fans who have unlocked the statue before can spawn there directly. If not, they will have to jump down a cliff and head into a small cave. Fans will know they are in the right place when they are in between the Entombed City – Outskirts and the Entombed City – Palace. After defeating any enemies around the camp, find the neatly written note by Joel’s father. It claims that he believes the weather condition to be good and wants to break for the summit.
For this second part of the Genshin Impact mission, fast travel will come in handy since the last location is in the Ancient Palace directly across from the statue. If not, head across the path to the far side of the mountain – while stopping to make fires so the party doesn’t get too cold. Once players get there, they can walk around the huge pit and turn right on the path.
There should be another similar camp on the player’s left-hand side. Occasionally, a powerful Hilichurl does spawn here, so be careful and defeat it before investigating the note. It will state that a powerful storm forced Joel’s father to lose half of his supplies and hide in a cave downhill.
To finish the quest, travel back to the Statue of the Seven and walk toward the waypoint. There will be a breakable stone wall covering Joel’s father’s last camp, revealing his unfortunate fate. After reporting to Joel about what happened to his father, he will reward the player with two Hero’s Wit, 40 Primogems, 30,000 Mora, and four Mystic Enhancement Ores.
Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
