It’s been over a month since the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light, the latest expansion for Bungie’s sci-fi looter-shooter. As the fifth major expansion for the title, Beyond Light has been described as the beginning of a new era for the game. The expansion added a large amount of content to Destiny 2, including a new region, elemental power, and Raid.
The new Raid is called the Deep Stone Crypt, and Bungie has been regularly releasing new Challenges for players to complete in it. The latest of these is Of All Trades. The new Challenge requires each member of the 6-person Destiny Raid team to have used each of the three Raid buffs for one whole round. Given there are only six rounds to do this in, teamwork is essential.
While any difficult Destiny 2 Raid takes some organization, getting the Of All Trades Triumph requires a highly-coordinated team. Firstly, players should number each Guardian, one to six, which will help to designate who is next to receive a buff. At the start of the first round, player one should take the Scanner buff, player three should take the Operator, and Player five should take the Suppressor.
Knowing when to pass the buff is essential, so players will need to remain in constant communication to complete the Destiny 2 Raid Challenge. At the end of the first round, players should swap buffs for the first time. Each player will pass the buff on to the next player in numerical order, one to two, three to four, etc. If done right, this should mean that no-one who had a buff in the first round has one in the second. It should also mean that everyone who didn’t have a buff in the first round now has one.
At the end of the second round, players should pass on the buffs once again. To prevent confusion, each buff should continue moving to the next player in numerical order. The Suppressor buff, which was held by player six in round 2, should now pass to player one. As the Deep Stone Crypt Raid continues, the team should stick to this system. By the time six rounds have passed, all six players should have had a turn with each buff.
This will be enough to complete the Destiny 2 Challenge, and earn the Triumph, but there’s one extra point to note. When swapping buffs, players should make sure that they’ve already dunked both nukes. Only after that has been done is it safe to put the buffs into a terminal.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
