Players that want to earn the Splintered title in Destiny 2‘s Beyond Light expansion must first complete a variety of Triumphs. One of these Triumphs is called Reuniting the Eventide Rookery, and it instructs fans to recover all the penguin toys on Europa. While not all of these toys are obtainable at the time of writing, many of them are, and this guide will detail where to find the eighth penguin in Destiny 2, which became available with the weekly reset on December 29.
To get right to it, Destiny 2 players that are on the hunt for the week eight penguin will need to visit Kell’s Rising on Europa. Fans can reach this location by staying to the right as they navigate through Riis-Reborn Approach at the top of the map, and they will eventually encounter an elevator and teleporter. After interacting with these devices, players should continue forward through the tunnels that they encounter, and those that do will find themselves in Kell’s Rising quite quickly.
From the beginning of this area, fans should make their way through the Vex until they reach an open space with a large chasm at its center. Players should go to the right promptly upon entering this room and continue forward until they encounter a Fallen enemy called the Stasis Spinner. Once this foe has been dispatched, players should simply jump behind the two nearby objects that are covered with a black material to collect the new penguin souvenir in Destiny 2.
As with all the other toys, the week eight penguin can be taken to the structure near Charon’s Crossing after it has been obtained. In this structure players will find a surface upon which they can place the souvenir, and they will receive some XP in Destiny 2 when that has been done. They will also be one step closer to completing the Reuniting the Eventide Rookery Triumph and finally receiving Beyond Light’s new title.
Of course, this Triumph is just one part of earning the Splintered title, and players will need to tackle a number of other tasks before everything is said and done. While it is true that many of these tasks are fairly straightforward, some of them, such as the Studying Darkness Triumph that sends fans to find all the Entropic Shards in Destiny 2, will take some effort. That said, players that really want the title should be able to earn it with a bit of patience and persistence.
