Cyberpunk 2077’s Funniest Glitches | Game Rant

While some glitches in Cyberpunk 2077 result in game-breaking bugs or even the game itself crashing completely, others lead to hilarity. CD Projekt Red is actively working to patch up the remaining issues found in Cyberpunk 2077, so some of the best clips were taken in the early days of its release.

While some players are able to get through an entire playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 relatively “bug-free,” others are subject to more chaotic instances, and perhaps it’s best just to laugh them off. Sometimes, Cyberpunk NPCs really struggle to render. Other times, calling V’s vehicle will park itself underneath another vehicle, effectively making it inoperable. But among Cyberpunk‘s most outrageous glitches, like Rogue getting into V’s vehicle while it’s being driven or the classic clip of a car flying in from nowhere, a few stand out as comedic gold.

Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the only one with bugs in its system. Vik is one of Night City’s finest ripperdocs, and at some point, V needs better hardware to become a better mercenary. While on the operating table, Vik removes a virus from V’s operating system. But even Night City’s best doc can’t remove Cyberpunk‘s most chaotic glitches, especially this relentlessly ironic one.

The vehicle physics and AI in Cyberpunk 2077 have been all over the place. Sometimes, they result in a car being summoned from the sky, but other times, cars can fly to the highest skyscrapers in Night City. But here, even when V urgently needs a ride, this woman just doesn’t want to let go of her car, and the car itself grows a mind of its own. This isn’t the first time a Cyberpunk car has spontaneously gained the ability to do gymnastics, but it is a hilarious one.

Sometimes, Johnny Silverhand is the brutally honest voice in V’s head. Even without this perfectly-timed bug, V’s response to getting hit head-on by a Delamain cab is probably an underreaction. Of course, CDPR is doing whatever it can to clean up Cyberpunk following a disastrous release, but still, these bugs are sometimes a little too on the nose.

NPC AI Cyberpunk 2077 certainly needs some work if it wants to keep players immersed instead of emitting utter chaos. Rather than being the intuitive minds seen during the Meredith Stout mission at E3 2018 with timed reactions and witty responses, most of the rest of the game, unfortunately, didn’t turn out quite as intelligent. Watching an NPC who cannot supposedly walk do so is hilarious evidence of that.

After finally reaching the end of Cyberpunk 2077, it’ll have been a harrowing journey for V. Should players get the clip in the ending seen above, it’ll probably be emotional for the player, too. That is until V takes off Johnny’s aviators only to reveal another pair underneath, much like that guy at the Winter Olympics in 2018.

Life as a mercenary can be hard. No matter which lifepath V might choose, the city will always treat them like nothing more than a street kid. Even if V is good at negotiating, it will often lead to angry shouting or even guns blazing. So, perhaps this only true way to assert dominance in Night City is to stand on a motorcycle butt-naked to show the world who’s really in charge.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions in development.
