Assassin’s Creed Valhalla thrusts players back into a familiar world where Viking protagonist Eivor becomes embroidered in a conflict between the Order of Ancients and Hidden Ones in this entry. Naturally, Eivor must train both combat and stealth skills to successfully lead the Viking people to a better future in England. But while not fighting enemies or questing, players can engage in more recreational activities such as catching fish.
As a recent addition to the series, Eivor has several different ways to go fishing. Whether players choose to first build a fishing hut, fight in hand-to-fish combat, or just shoot them from afar with arrows they will eventually find some rarer catches across the world. One of these uncommon types is the Bullhead (small) which is needed as an offering to the Elisdon Altar but can be found without too much difficulty in the right places.
While small Bullheads can be found in multiple areas, the first spot to check out is Ledecestre. If players are far away from the town, simply bring up the map and fast travel over. Upon arrival, look at the river and use Odin Sight to check how many Bullheads are nearby. Afterwards, start fishing or jump in the river and start firing arrows but be careful not to miss and scare them off. It is recommended to use Light Arrows rather than Explosive Arrows or other types due to their high rate of fire as WoW Quests demonstrates in their YouTube video.
Alternatively, players can also find plenty of small Bullheads in Grantebridgescire near the Elisdon Altar. Go to the nearby river and once again use Odin Sight where at least 10 fish should be swimming nearby at a time. The preferred method to catch them is to fire a bunch of arrows on a boat and collect the Bullheads afterwards. At the very least, its proximity to the Elisdon Altar will save players valuable time when trekking back.
Finally, there’s a smaller area where Bullheads can be caught without having to fish or navigate through deep water. The location is in East Anglia at the Deod River between Britannia’s Watch and the Grimes Graves. Players can walk through the river and simply attack fish using weapons such as an axe.
In the end, it won’t take very long to gather the required small Bullheads using any of these three locations. However, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players should grab 10 extra fish because they will eventually stumble upon another altar in Glowestrescire that requires the same offering as the Elisdon Altar.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
