Genshin Impact‘s Lost Riches event is live now, and it centers around unearthing Iron Coins and exchanging them for rewards. However, before fans can start tracking down these hidden riches, they must first initiate their participation in this new event. That is done by speaking with an NPC named Ulman, and indeed some Genshin Impact players may be uncertain about exactly where they can find him.
To get right to it, Ulman can be found near the Stone Gate in Dihua Marsh, Liyue, and players that check their maps in Genshin Impact should see a Treasure Chest icon at his exact position. For those fans that may not be able to locate such an icon in-game, the map below highlights Ulman’s location, and it should make finding him quite easy. For full clarity, players will need to ascend a stone ramp as they draw near to the NPC, and he will be standing on the wood decking at the top.
Upon arriving at Ulman’s location, players should speak with the NPC to receive a rundown on a particular Treasure-Seeking Seelie that he has in his possession. This conversation will ultimately result in a fan’s receipt of the Seelie as well as Ulman’s Treasure Book, which will act as a guide to the event’s Iron Coins. Genshin Impact players will not be able to find all of the Coins straightaway, though, as the treasure areas where they are buried will be revealed gradually over the course of the event.
For those players that are interested, the process for unearthing Iron Coins begins with equipping the Treasure-Seeking Seelie in Genshin Impact and navigating to one of the locations indicated in Ulman’s Treasure Book. Once a player has reached a treasure area, they should simply run around and look for any beams of light that are emerging from the ground. Indeed, these lights indicate the presence of Iron Coins, and players can dig them up by following the onscreen prompt.
With respect to what players can buy with the Iron Coins that they obtain, there are a variety of items available in the Event Shop. Perhaps the most desirable of these items are the three Mini Seelies that can be purchased for 280 Iron Coins, though it is important to emphasize that fans can only claim one of them during the event. Players can also exchange their Coins for Hero’s Wits, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ores, and Primogems in Genshin Impact if they wish to.
Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
