Watch Halo Multiplayer Voice Actor Recite His Most Famous Lines in New Video

For a great number of people in the gaming community, Halo is an incredibly important series. Following its landmark debut on the original Xbox, Halo took the world of gaming by storm, thanks to its unique world and setting, excellent shooting mechanics, and the cavalcade of iconic elements that made this series stand out for so many years. This includes the memorable voiceover that accompanied Halo’s multiplayer.

A lot of Halo fans would agree that Halo’s multiplayer is one of the best things to come out of Halo. With a large variety of different game modes, a dedicated player base that has lasted nearly two decades, and intense gameplay options, multiplayer is a very enjoyable experience for most players. Although, one component of Halo’s multiplayer that has remained largely consistent since the beginning is the voiceover.

Jeff Steitzer has been doing the voiceover for Halo’s multiplayer since Halo: Combat Evolved. On a small video over on Reddit, Steitzer recorded a bunch of iconic lines from Halo’s multiplayer, such as “Double Kill,” “Slayer,” and “Killionaire.” It’s quite exciting to see a face put to such a legendary voice within the world of video games.

Since Combat Evolved, Steitzer has provided his voiceover for the multiplayer mode of every single Halo game. His voiceover talents will even be used in the widely anticipated release of Halo Infinite. It will be interesting to see what new lines show up in the upcoming game and how they will sound comparatively. Although, if this video is any indication, Steitzer’s ability as a voice actor has certainly not diminished over the years.

It will be interesting to see what 343 Industries does in terms of Halo’s multiplayer. With the game being delayed until the Fall of 2021, this should give the studio and its developers more than enough time to iron out an experience that is hopefully unlike anything Halo fans have seen before in terms of both singleplayer and multiplayer.

Though it is a little concerning that, in terms of Halo Infinite, there hasn’t been much else shown outside of screenshots and the gameplay showcase that happened back in the Summer of last year. It’s clear that the developers want to get this game right, considering the gaming community’s largely unfavorable reaction to Halo 5, but it’s hard to know what to expect when there hasn’t been that many elements shown in practice. Only time will tell if Halo Infinite manages to live up to the expectations that its fans have put in place for the game.

Halo Infinite is set to release in the Fall of 2021.
