During Violence in Cyberpunk 2077, players will get to meet one of the many cameos in Night City, but V must also make some difficult decisions.
The Violence quest in Cyberpunk 2077 is short but disturbing and features singer-songwriter Grimes, also known as Lizzy Wizzy in Night City. It’s one of many Watson side jobs that V will be offered throughout the game. An unknown number will text V, asking them to meet at the No-Tell Motel in Kabuki. The celebrity won’t show her face at first but will soon reveal herself to be Lizzy Wizzy, cyberware body and all. It seems that V is a fan of Lizzy’s, as they have a poster of her in their apartment.
Lizzy Wizzy will task V with an investigation of her boyfriend and manager, Liam Northom. They’ve been dating for a few months but she expects that he’s cheating. Lizzy points V to a nightclub in Night City called Riot to find proof of the affair. After arriving at Riot in Little China, V will be let in by a burly bouncer. He can be questioned about Liam but will only reveal that he’s in the VIP room if V chose the Streetkid lifepath or with a level 11 Body skill. Otherwise, head inside to the bartender.
The bartender can either be bribed with $3000 or by intimidating him with a level 9 Body skill. He’ll reveal that Liam is in the VIP room, so head upstairs to the Staff Only door to the left of the stage, rather than to the one on the right where the waymarker is pointing. Inside, grab the Employee Badge to open up the Staff Only door across the way.
Heading inside, make an immediate right to the elevator and take it to the ground floor. This will take V to an empty security room at Riot. Check the computer and tab over to the Local Network page to find the Surveillance System. Hit “remote takeover” to spy on Liam in the VIP lounge.
The scene with Liam and the woman he’s meeting with will reveal that he’s not cheating on Lizzy Wizzy but is trying to save her mind onto an engram, similar to what Arasaka did to Johnny Silverhand. Now, V has a choice to make: to lie to Lizzy Wizzy or tell her the truth.
If V lies to Lizzy, Johnny won’t like it, which hurts chances at getting Cyberpunk 2077‘s secret ending, but she’ll pay V and the quest will be over. If V decides to tell her the truth, however, she’ll be overwhelmed for the time being and hang up.
After some sinister text messages later on in Cyberpunk 2077, Lizzy will later pay V, then call them back to No-Tell for help with another task: disposing of Liam’s body. V can refuse, but will fail Violence, or accept and dispose of the body down the hall in a laundry chute, which earns a nice chunk of change.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
