Warzone: 10 Tips To Survive In Diamond Lobbies | Game Rant

Warzone players are getting better and better. Players with over a 1.0 K/D will be placed in lobbies with great players from time to time. These lobbies will not be the games to press and try to get a lot of kills. Although, players can get a decent number of kills and play for the win.

Generally, teams will have an idea how good the enemy players are after a few gunfights. If the enemies seem competent, players should take a few additional steps to ensure that they can survive until the final circle. Teams should be on the same page as to what the strategy is for the match and stay connected throughout.

10 Team Play Is Key

Even the best Warzone players stand no chance against four casual players that communicate and work together. Communication is essential when playing in an above-average lobby in Warzone. Players should live ping enemies and ping players on the map.

Additionally, players should let their team members know which direction enemies are moving and which operators are downed. Taking these steps will help to ensure that none of the enemies are unaccounted for. Likewise, teams should coordinate when to hop out of a vehicle and push together when clearing a building. When taking on enemy players camping in a building, teams should have sound tactics and utilize jump spots as well as other techniques that catch players off guard. Players should identify teammates that drift away from the squad and reel them in.

9 Rotate Early

Getting easy holding kills is enticing, but players that rotate late will be killed by players that are waiting in the zone. Early rotations are not as important in the early game, but at the end of a match, the team that rotates late will almost always lose. Teams should use vehicles to get in a good spot before each collapse and stay one step ahead of the rest of the lobby. Players need to anticipate where the final zones may rotate to and make sure they will not get caught below a building or at the base of a cliff.

8 Every Teammate Should Have A Role

To survive in sweaty lobbies, teams need to make sure that they have the best classes and equipment to win squad battles. Having the best perks is also essential. For example, not everyone on the team should have a heartbeat and each team should have at least one sniper.

One member of the squad should have flash grenades or stuns and the others should have heartbeats and/or smoke grenades for sticky situations. Snipers are essential on each team to down enemy players that are preventing movement. It would also be a good idea to have someone on the team with a quick revive.

7 Airstrikes And Cluster Strikes

Having airstrikes and cluster strikes are important when playing against good players. They can be used to finish enemy players or to relocate on the map. Players in the best lobbies will seek higher ground, and often the only way to prevent from getting held outside of the zone is to use one of the score streaks effectively. Late in the game, UAVs are useless in diamond lobbies and air strikes or cluster strikes can be used to force players from cover in the final circle.

6 Find A Satchel And Spend Money

Players need to have as many small advantages as possible to win in the most difficult lobbies. The endgame fight will require a full satchel of plates and probably an armor box. Teams should prioritize looting early in the game to make sure that each player gets an extra loadout and ghost after the second loadout. Teams should have some type of Scorestreak and use UAVs throughout the match to keep an eye on where enemies are on the map. Ideally, one player on each team will have an armor box, and another will have a munitions box. Additionally, dead silence and stopping power are useful tools when taking on skilled enemies. Every player on a team should have self-revive if possible.

5 Always Have An Active Contract

Teams should use scavengers, bounty contracts, and recon contracts effectively. Scavengers are great early in the game to get enough cash for a loadout, which is crucial in skilled lobbies. Bounty contracts are essentially free UAVs and will help teams avoid getting killed by at least a few players. For players that are just looking to get wins, recon contracts are a great option to predict where the zone will move. Players that like to play at a fast pace should grab bounty contracts as they move with the zone.

4 Awareness And Movement

No player is safe when out in the open in Verdansk. Players should always be slide canceling and hopping to check to their left and right. In Diamond lobbies, players are skilled enough to down enemies before they can get to adequate cover. Good players keep moving and consistently look both ways for enemies. Players should live ping enemies and look for enemy teammates when in a gunfight. Skilled Warzone players do not peek the same location more than once and keep enemies guessing.

3 Be Patient When Engaging Enemies

Players should not shoot at every enemy they see. Good players wait until they have a chance of downing an enemy before firing bullets. Taking pop shots at an enemy team is a good way to get squad wiped. Similarly, players should not engage multiple teams at once. By fighting multiple teams, squads will have to account for two times as many enemies, and the enemies will rarely engage each other. Everyone on the team should know if and where a member of the team is shooting.

2 Finish Downed Players

Deciding when to finish a downed player or focus on the remaining teammates is difficult and the right move varies depending on the scenario. In diamond lobbies, players will almost always have self-revive. Teams need to make a concerted effort to finish off kills, because players will just self-revive and re-plate. Instead of having a four versus three gunfight, teams will have to fight four fully armored enemies that know their location.

1 Escape Bad Situations

When all else fails, sometimes players just have to run. If three members of a team are downed, and the opposing team has four players up, it makes sense to leave the gunfight and not waste the final gulag on the team. Teams in platinum and diamond lobbies will chase, so players need to escape using vehicles or flying off of a tall building. Eventually, most enemy teams will give up after a few minutes and the remaining player can loot and try to get every teammate back. The best way to get all members of a team back is by grabbing a most wanted contract and getting in a helicopter.
