Hitman 3: How Long to Beat | Game Rant

With Hitman 3, players once again take control of Agent 47 in order to perform numerous assassinations across various locations. While this highly-anticipated stealth game is structed in a way that will encourage many fans to extensively explore its maps and perform these killings numerous times, some may be curious about how long a straightforward playthrough takes. For those players that are indeed wondering about the length of Hitman 3, full details can be found in what follows.

To put things simply, there are six locations in Hitman 3, each of which can be worked through in approximately one hour. This means that a fan could conceivably complete the full game in as little as six hours, though most players will likely get around 10 hours out of a quick first playthrough. However, this is certainly not the end of the story with Hitman 3‘s length, as its mission are built to be extremely replayable.

Indeed, each assignment in Hitman 3 can be approached in many different ways, and players will ultimately need to decide how deep they want to go with the title for themselves. For those fans that want to truly perfect their assassination techniques and see everything that the game has to offer, this could easily mean 100 hours or more of playtime. While such a lengthy playthrough is certainly not requisite for enjoying Hitman 3, this figure should give a sense of the game’s expansive nature.

To note, Hitman 3‘s structure is quite similar to what has been established with previous games in the series, and it will thus not come as much of a surprise to veterans of the franchise. Hitman 2, for example, can also be completed in around 10 hours, but players that take such a speedy approach will only have scratched its surface. The same can be said about 2016’s Hitman, which is the first entry in the World of Assassination trilogy that concludes with the new release.

Considering how positive the initial Hitman 3 reviews have been, many players will undoubtedly want to extend their playthroughs well past what is required to simply complete the game. Fortunately, it is extremely easy to do just that, and the depth of the world that has been created by developer IO Interactive can make a deep dive into the title very rewarding. That said, players are also free to complete their killings as quickly as possible and be done with Hitman 3 if that is their preference.

Hitman 3 will be available on January 20 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
