Genshin Impact: Sweet Flower Locations | Game Rant

In Genshin Impact, players need an astounding amount of materials in order to create all of the food, alchemy recipes, and more. While out in the world farming for Mora, solving quests, and killing enemies, players can also farm for delicious ingredients to make some potent food. One of these ingredients is the Sweet Flower.

Sweet flowers are, according to Genshin Impact, “Particularly fragrant flowers. They can be found easily, even in the dark. Just follow the scent.” They can be processed into sugar to make a variety of dishes, or they can be used unprocessed to make a Sweet Madame. A Sweet Madame is a recipe available at the beginning of the game, and it restores 20 – 24% of Max HP and an additional 900 – 1,500 HP when eaten.

This Genshin Impact recipe is also used to complete the quest called “Old Tastes Die Hard,” for a Mr. Zhu in Guili Plains.

Sweet Flowers can be purchased from Flora, the florist; she can be found right near the entrance of Mondstadt and has some quests for players looking to complete the City of Wind and Song. Players can purchase 10 per day from her for 200 Mora each. If players are looking to grab more than 10 in one day, however, they will have to go and pick some themselves.

It’s a little harder to pin down exactly where players should pick these flowers, since they grow all over Treyvat, the world that Genshin Impact‘s map is located in. Players can find Sweet Flowers all over Mondstadt and all over Liyue. The maps showing the spawn points are not particularly helpful, because the areas are so large.

However, there are a couple of key places where Sweet Flowers spawn fairly close together:

The best place for low-level players to farm the Sweet Flower is just south of Mondstadt, mostly because they should not run into any enemies that are too difficult for them to defeat. Players should also look in the field between Qingce Village and Mt. Aozang to find several of these sugary flowers.

There is a Genshin Impact enemy type that hides as a Sweet Flower on the map. Whopperflowers are flower-shaped enemies that pretend to be Sweet Flowers in order to lull unexpecting victims into range before attacking. The only way to tell the difference between a real Sweet Flower and a Whopperflower is to make sure that the flower displays a hand icon when interacting with it, and not the “…” icon. Any flowers with the “…” icon instead of the hand will be an enemy and not a cooking material.

Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and has a Switch version in development.
