Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Best Ripperdoc Upgrades, Ranked | Game Rant

Ripperdocs are Cyberpunk 2077‘s version of a cosmetic surgeon, but instead of only amping up someone’s physical appearance, they provide them literal superpowers. Ripperdocs are very helpful in Night City, especially those who engage in dangerous activities, which is rampant already to begin with.

Cyberpunk 2077, while mixed in terms of fan reception, does have a lot of Ripperdoc upgrades that make the game more fun for its players. Other Ripperdoc upgrades are better than others, of course, in terms of power, usefulness in combat and traversal, and increasing V’s survivability. There are a ton of Ripperdocs all around and outside Night City and the following upgrades are some of the best they can make use of in the game.

10 Camillo RAM Manager

The Camillo RAM Manager Ripperdoc upgrade is a Frontal Cortex Cyberware. The epic variation of the upgrade will instantly restore 20% of the player’s RAM when it drops to two units. The legendary variation will restore 30%.

The epic version can be bought from the Ripperdoc at Cassius at Northside for 10,000 eddies, while the legendary version is at West Wind Estate for 14,000. The epic item requires at least 12 intelligence to wield and 16 for the legendary version.

9 Heal-On-Kill

The Heal-On-Kill mod is a Frontal Cortex Cyberware. Its legendary version will restore 10% of the player’s total health upon defeating an enemy. This is the perfect Cyberware to equip for those who prefer advancing head-on rather than opting for a more stealthy approach.

This mod requires 18 Reflex to equip. It can be bought from the Ripperdocs in Watson Northside and Watson North of Kabuki for 35,000 eddies.

8 BioMonitor

The BioMonitor is a Circulatory System Cyberware. The legendary variation of this Ripperdoc upgrade will give the players a second chance to turn things around in combat as it will fully restore a player’s health once it drops down to 15%. Once used, it won’t be used again for another 120 seconds.

The BioMonitor can be bought from a Ripperdoc located at the Badlands for a hefty 42,000 eddies. The upgrade, thankfully, has no required level, so for as long as the players have enough eddies to dish out, wielding this functional upgrade should be easy.

7 Second Heart

The Second Heart Rippedoc upgrade is a Circulatory System Cyberware. Where the BioMonitor replenishes a player’s health fully after it falls to 15%, this Ripperdoc upgrade will restore the player’s health to 100% once it falls to zero.

This upgrade requires a 16 level body to be used. It will also require a level 49 reputation before the player is able to buy it. It can be bought from a Ripperdoc located at Heywood, Wellsprings for 42,000 eddies.

6 Biodyne Berserk MK 4

The Biodyne Berserk MK 4 Operating System Cyberware is the brand’s newest version of Berserk implants. These implants are notable for their improved ranged combat and defense algorithms, making them popular to soldiers and mercenaries alike. It reduces weapon recoil by 25%, increases melee damage by 5%, and armor and resistance by 5%.

The Biodyne Berserk MK 4 can be purchased from a Ripperdoc at Japantown, Westbrook for 35,000 eddies.

5 Militech ‘Falcon’ Sandevistan

The Militech “Falcon” Sandevistan is an Operating System Cyberware. It is considered to be Militech’s best and most advanced model. Militech elite soldiers exclusively used previous Sandevistan operating systems, but now they’ve been made available to the average consumer.

This operating system will slow time by 30% for 18 seconds. On top of that feature, it will also increase any damage dealt by 15% and increase crit chance by 20%. It can be bought from a Ripperdoc at Wellsprings for 43,750 eddies.

4 Projectile Launch System

The Projectile Launch System Arm Cyberware will turn V’s arm into a miniature missile launcher. The Cyberware is incredibly powerful and handy in combat. It allows V to launch powerful projectiles that deal physical damage, cause explosions, and apply status effects. It is also very effective against groups of enemies.

This Ripperdoc upgrade is magnificent, to say the least, but it is also very expensive. It can be bought from a Ripperdoc at Downtown, City Center, or at Heywood, Wellsprings for 100,450 eddies.

3 Synaptic Signal Optimizer

The Synaptic Signal Optimizer is a Nervous System Cyberware. Its effect is very straightforward and uncomplicated, but it is incredibly useful if the players are to power their way through Night City’s harshest alleys and neighborhoods.

The legendary variation of the Synaptic Signal Optimizer will increase the player’s health by 60%. It is also rather affordable, priced only at 28,000 eddies. It can be bought from Kraviz’s Clinic, located at Charter Hill, Westbrook.

2 Shock-N-Awe

The Shock-N-Awe Ripperdoc upgrade is an Immune System Cyberware. Upon getting hit, this cyberware will provide a 10% chance of releasing an electroshock blast that deals damage to nearby enemies. The damage will be equal to 20% of an enemy’s max health.

This Ripperdoc upgrade costs only 7,000 eddies and it can be bought from a Ripperdoc located at Downtown, City Center. It may be affordable, but it is one of the most useful cyberwares in the game, considering how often V will get hit by incoming gunshots and melee attacks.

1 Mantis Blades

The Mantis Blades are an Arms Cyberware that installs lethal blades on V’s arm. The arm blades are supposedly designed with concealment in mind, therefore making it useful for those who prefer a stealthy approach. It will also allow the players to unlock the ability to leap towards an enemy for massive damage.

The Mantis Blades Cyberware can be located at several locations and earned for free by completing certain missions. One is dropped at a footlocker during a Cyberpsycho Sighting mission called Phantom of Night City. Another can be found while undergoing an Assault in Progress located near Epistrophy: Wellsprings. It can also be picked up during an Assault in Progress at Heywood. Finally, it can be bought from a Ripperdoc at Heywood.
