Loads of gaming fans somehow missed Desperados 3 when it came out in 2020 and it’s seriously a shame. It’s the first game to come out in the tactical stealth franchise since 2006 and is loaded full of fun content. With Bounty Mode out now and players able to make their own maps, there’s never been a better time to try it out.
For some players, the game can be a bit difficult. Thankfully, the creators of the game, Mimimi Games, included some cheat codes in the game. From a literal Komani Code to unlock more all the levels in the game to ways to make characters invisible, there are loads of options to help decrease the difficulty to the exact level players need.
Accessing the codes works differently on each platform and the combinations of buttons can differ slightly as well. We’ve got all the codes and what they do here to make the cheating experience just as easy. Note: If in-game cheats are turned on, badges and achievements are turned off. The final screen that shows statistics will also show “CHEATER” in big red letters.
To access cheat codes on the PS4 version of the game, players first need to open the main menu. From here, they’ll need to enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right L1, R1. This homage to the Konami Code will open allow players to enter in more cheats. Here is each cheat, how to make them happen, and what they do.
Unlock All Levels: Up, Up, Down, Down, L1, R1, L1, R1, Left, Right
Unlock Demo Levels (Devil’s Canyon, Byers Pass, and Flagstone): Right, Right, Right, Up, Down
Immortality: RB + Left
Mortality: RB + Right
Invisibility: RB + Down
Visibility: RB + Up
Teleportation: Left + RB
Instant Kill: Left + LT
To unlock cheat codes on the Xbox One version of the game, players will need to first open the main menu. From here, they will need to do the following button presses: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, LB, RB. Yes, another Konami Code! From here, players can enter in the following combinations for the following effects.
Unlock All Levels: Up, Up, Down, Down, L1, R1, L1, R1, Left, Right
Unlock Demo Levels (Devil’s Canyon, Byers Pass, and Flagstone): Right, Right, Right, Up, Down
Immortality: R1 + Left
Mortality: R1 + Right
Invisibility: R1 + Down
Visibility: R1 + Up
Teleportation: Left + L1
Instant Kill: Right + L1
To unlock cheat codes on the PC version of the game, players will first need to type in “honorless” at the main menu. From here, players will be able to type in the codes or press the correct buttons to make each cheat work. Here is how to active each cheat and what they do.
Unlock All Levels: taketheatrain
Unlock Demo Levels (Devil’s Canyon, Byers Pass, and Flagstone): lonerider
Immortality: POS1
Mortality: End
Invisibility: Page Down
Visibility: Page Up
Teleportation: F10
Instant Kill: Delete
Specific codes can be used to spawn and despawn various items and characters on the screen. These are actually a subset of the developer’s tools and allow players to make custom maps. This process is far different than the normal cheat codes and Mimimi Games has a full tutorial on level creation.
Still, these can be used for fun chaos in regular missions as well. Items and creatures will spawn wherever the mouse is positioned. They can be deleted by clicking Shift + Delete. Items spawn by pressing Insert + Right Alt + (Entity Code). A full list of entity codes is also available from Mimimi Games.
Desperados 3 is now available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
