Hitman 3 by IO Interactive has just launched and there’s a lot to dig into. The latest outing with Agent 47 is his most complex, yet. Being an organic continuation of its predecessors, Hitman 3 offers the same gameplay mechanics that are peppered with a myriad of enhancements. The semi-open world maps offer endless ways to assassinate targets and, along the way, players will also be tasked with completing daily objectives and collecting trophies/achievements. One of the most tricky among them is the “Bullet Train” trophy/achievement and there’s a very specific step-by-step process on how to get it.
Hitman 3 can be a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new players that are becoming introduced into the world of Agent 47. One wrong move and the entire mission can go sour within a matter of seconds. When it comes to more seasoned players who are comfortable in Agent 47’s skin, clearing out the entire level by checking off every optional objective and collecting trophies/achievements is the primary goal. Even though there are quite a few trophies/achievements to find in Hitman 3, some are easier to acquire than others. The “Bullet Train” trophy/achievement can be found in the last mission of the game called “Untouchable”, which is when things get a little hairy for Agent 47.
During this mission, players will need to shoot their way out of a train as it speeds through the Carpathian Mountains. It’s a twist from the norms of Hitman‘s gameplay methods, however, there’s no other way around this. So, to get the “Bullet Train” trophy/achievement players will need to shoot any same soldier with a; silenced pistol, silenced SMG, and silenced shotgun before finally taking them out. Given the situation with this mission, Agent 47 will need to scour the level to find these weapons first and foremost.
When players make their way to the front of the train to kill Arthur Edwards, he will be guarded by heavily armed security. Take out the security and pick up their pistols. Shortly after this encounter, continue to move forward and there will a workbench nearby. Use it to put the silencer on the pistol. The silenced shotgun can be obtained in one of a few ways. Firstly, there are a couple of soldiers that have them equipped if players manage to find them. Secondly, another option is to look for a sleeping guard. Next to him will be a silenced shotgun on the wall. Lastly, players can also find another shotgun hidden in the armory cart.
Speaking of the armory cart, this is where players can find their silenced SMG. There will be two guards in there so take care of them and scour the cart. Now that players have all the weapons, they will need to find a soldier of any kind and use them. Knocking out a guard and shooting them doesn’t work, they need to be conscious and standing. The trick is that the pistol and SMG need to be weakened, first. This will help reduce the damage. Shoot one shot at a soldier’s leg, then follow with a short burst from the SMG. After that, just finish off the soldier with one well-placed blast with the shotgun and the “Bullet Train” trophy/achievement will be unlocked.
