Hitman 3: Dubai Chameleon Challenge Guide | Game Rant

The accolades that are available in each Hitman 3 mission present different levels of challenge. Sometimes it’s just a matter of scaring the birds in Hitman 3‘s second mission, but other times, it requires multiple attempts and precise level knowledge.

Of all the challenges in Hitman 3, Chameleon can be one of the most frustrating. It requires players to take on each and every different disguise in the level at least once. This means finding and putting on costumes from every part of the level. That’s a lot of time and effort, not to mention trial and error, so here’s a guide to help speed up the Chameleon achievement in Hitman 3‘s first mission.

Hitman 3 emphasizes playing the same level over and over again, and this is primarily what contributes to completing the Chameleon challenge. A common mistake Hitman 3 players make is to go for everything at once, but many Challenges lend themselves to seeing how things might play out differently each time. While the video below shows that it is certainly possible to achieve Chameleon in a single run, it makes that run decidedly messy and hard to complete.

From the starting location, head straight back to the arches. A security guard is standing there, watching the opening speech. Subdue him to get the costume. There’s nowhere to hide the body nearby, but the mission can easily be restarted here without anything huge being lost.

The staff are all over the place on the first floor, although finding one alone can be tricky. Players who haven’t restarted the level yet can find one easily enough by going through the locked door to the left of where they just took out the security guard. The code is a spoiler unless players have found it already: 4706. Head inside and take out the staff on his phone to get the costume. Be careful though: there’s another worker in the corner, working on something else. Both NPCs can be safely disposed down the nearby elevator shaft.

For this, head up to the third floor. This can be done the regular way or via the outside of the building by opening windows. Don’t worry, opening the windows can be done with the camera, it doesn’t need the Dubai admin privileges. There’s a maintenance staff member alone in a clearly labeled Storage Room who’s perfect for the takedown.

This one is necessary to pull off the Angry Birdy challenge, and can be checked off the list be doing so.

Head to the fourth floor and find the lounge room with a big painting of purple Xs. Down the corridor by that painting, take the first door on the right. Ignore the backwards Arabic throughout the level. Inside is a staff member and a convenient place to hide the body, plus there’s nobody else around.

This one can be tricky. All of the Art Crew are in the control room on the third floor, where few people are supposed to be. Either lurk around until one goes to a secluded area, or take them all out quickly with headshots. This second option might result in a necessary reset, but it’s still one more costume down.

All the way back down to the first floor for this one. Behind the table where guests are getting their refreshment, players can enter the kitchens through a door. It’s best to do so in a disguise that will ensure they aren’t trespassing. There is a lot of kitchen staff here, but also guards. Again, taking out everyone in the room is the quickest solution. Hitman 3 players will have to go hunting for anyone who escapes the carnage.

Now come the unique costumes, the ones often only accessible through certain means. The Chef is actually part of the Pick Your Poison Challenge, a path to assassinate one of the targets. The costume is acquired by necessity through this mission, which is laid out in the game itself.

Agent 47 isn’t the only assassin in the building, there’s another who’s part of a different assassination Challenge. He is found on the first floor, attempting to enter the inner building but refusing to be checked. Getting his costume requires some distraction work in an open area, and can be tricky, but don’t give up. Lure him behind the short wall nearby to become Hitman 3‘s version of an apex predator: Agent 47 disguised as another assassin.

To find the pilot, find the helicopter and its key. He’s there, waiting around to do his job. Take him out and the costume is secure.

This is probably the most difficult costume in the level. While beginner’s tips for Hitman 3 might help with gathering the other costumes, this one requires a careful approach, and may require a restart even then. From the helicopter platform, head up the ladder at the end of the nearby catwalk. Check inside the door on the left. If Ingram is at the computer, his bodyguard will be there too, with his back to the door. Bust out the fiber wire and drag him through the doorway. Hopefully, it will go unnoticed (at least at first) and the costume will be secured.

Hitman 3 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
