Artist Creates Incredible Hades Bass Music Cover | Game Rant

Hades was a title that shocked the gaming community in a massive way when it first released. In no time at all, Hades garnered a massive amount of attention and success, accumulating numerous award nominations and wins. There are obviously a lot of elements the game possesses that contribute to this, but one of the more arguably underrated components of the game is its music.

For many people, the Hades soundtrack is incredibly memorable, multilayered, and well executed. In fact, a key point that many fans point to in terms of Supergiant Games titles is the music. In fact, in August of last year, Supergiant Games put out a 10 year anniversary collection album that celebrates all of the music that’s present throughout all its games. However, fans of the studio’s games are equally celebrating.

Over on Twitter, Alex Moukala has posted a small clip of his bass cover of The Painful Way, one of many tracks off of Hades’ OST. Moukala’s cover certainly sounds a lot funkier than the version that’s present in the game, but still retains the intensity and complexity that makes the original version of the song stand out for so many people. One of the cooler details about Hades that some may have missed, is the way that the music continues to evolve and build upon itself as the game goes on. Familiar melodies are presented to players and then redone as the game possesses.

It’s heartwarming to see the amount of love and passion that many fans have for this game. From music covers like this, to cosplays of the many recognizable and likable characters, to even Hades themed crossover art featuring Kratos from God of War. So many fantastic fan creations have come out of this game that it’s almost hard to keep track of them all.

What’s truly surprising about this game is how much the gaming community took to it. In a way, with Hades taking the early access route, it allowed Supergiant Games to cultivate a fanbase that provided consistent feedback and suggestions for two years that allowed the studio to craft a finely-tuned, engaging experience that many won’t forget for a very long time.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds in terms of this game. Given how much attention and popularity it has received, it looks as though only good things will come of Hades. Whether that’s content updates or DLC. The only thing that’s missing is the fact that Hades hasn’t come to any other platforms aside from PC and Nintendo Switch. Hopefully, there will be a PS4 and Xbox One release in the future or maybe even a next-gen port.

Hades is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch.
