10 Secrets Many Still Haven’t Found In Genshin Impact | Game Rant

Genshin Impact is so full of secret treasures, puzzles, areas, quests, and characters that it’s almost impossible to tell if everything has been figured out at any given moment. Most secrets in the game are pretty trivial, and actually repeat themselves so players can figure out their patterns. That said, some are genuinely worth finding and exploiting to help enhance weapons, develop characters, or just improve the exploration experience.

Learning to spot the patterns of the game and where the developers like to hide their secrets becomes easier with time as players get familiar with the game. The sheer size of the world means that there are countless nooks and crannies that may yield large rewards and even more that contain absolutely nothing in them. The fun of Genshin Impact comes from every moment in between.

10 Fantastic Four Achievement

In Genshin Impact, drawing good characters can be difficult due to the low supply of Primogems easily available to players on free to play accounts. One way to get good rewards like Primogems or enhancing materials is to complete achievements. The game doesn’t tell the player about many secret achievements like the Fantastic Four.

To finish this achievement, simply complete any domain and complete the trial with a team of four characters with the same element. This can be difficult if the player hasn’t been lucky with the gacha mechanic, but it’s easy once they have four characters of the same element since the trials can be any level of difficulty.

9 Run Melos!

This is another secret achievement not mentioned in the game’s achievement list that can be completed by anyone. The technical requirement for this achievement is to keep running for 15 seconds without stopping. It’s difficult to run that long in the early game without unlocking more stamina, but there’s a way around that.

To get this achievement, even at level 1, without upgrading the traveler too much, the player can dash until they reach the end of their stamina gauge, then jump. Jumping will carry the momentum of the dash without triggering the end of the dash animation. If done correctly, the player will get the achievement.

8 Gliding Achievements

Genshin Impact rewards players for exploring and traversing the world around them. One of the main ways of doing this is to glide from place to place since it’s faster than running, consumes less stamina, and can help bypass enemies on the ground. Luckily there’re many achievements for gliding and some of them are secrets.

The best way to get these secret achievements is to glide from Starsnatch Cliff to the island across the sea. Players can max out their stamina or use food to restore their stamina mid-flight, to make this glide possible. Once they land, they will receive the Golden Gliding License and the It’s The Same As Having Wings achievement.

7 Wangshu Inn Exquisite Chest

The Wangshu Inn is a large structure found in Liyue that towers above the water surrounding it like an architectural marvel. In the Inn, there’re plenty of side quests, shops, and regular chests for the players to find, so exploring it is worth the time. On the outside of the inn is a chest that’s extremely difficult to find without great luck.

The player will have to jump off the inn facing the southeast corner. After jumping, glide towards the water mill and swim under the building where it connects to the mill. Activate the cryo token to reveal the chest under the inn.

6 Nameless Treasure Quest

Throughout their travels, many players noticed they had special items called nameless treasures that they didn’t know how to use or where to turn them in. Turns out there’s a secret quest in Liyue that lets players cash these in for 40 Primogems and tons of Mora.

After collecting three of the treasures from puzzles and quests around the Liyue region, go to the souvenir shop in the main town and talk to the shopkeeper after 9 pm. Talking to them will reveal a special dialogue option that triggers the quest, and ends it all in one.

5 Guyun Stone Forest Chest

In Genshin Impact, the environment is often just as intractable as the enemies and NPCs. In this case, there’s a small pile of rocks atop a boat in the stone forest that looks very out of place. The natural first thought is to smash it, and luckily, that’s the right answer.

After smashing the rocks, a chest will reveal itself to the player in the boat. This is an important secret because there are many like it hidden in the game. This goes to show that if anything looks out of place, it can’t hurt to try to smash it and see what happens. Genshin Impact might just have a reward waiting.

4 Chloris The Merchant

Finding materials to upgrade characters in Genshin Impact can be difficult, especially at higher levels in the game. This is because a lot of upgrade items have lengthy cooldown times when they naturally spawn, meaning players have to wait longer than normal before being able to harvest them again. Chloris is a solution to this problem.

Players can find Chloris frolicking along the main road above the Windrise fast travel area, talking to herself and looking for plants. Talk to her and buy out the stock of items if possible, because her stock will replenish a few days afterward in case more items are needed. Take advantage of her regularly if characters like Lisa, Barbara, and Razor are important for your party structure because their upgrade items are sold by Chloris.

3 Specialty Dishes

Every character in Genshin Impact has certain dishes that they specialize in making. Sometimes they’ll make extra amounts of food and other times they’ll create more advanced versions of recipes already known that provide better bonuses. When cooking, be sure to check which recipes a character might specialize in.

A great example is the chicken and mushroom skewer since it is easy to collect ingredients for. Every player recruits Kaeya to their team after progressing the story, and he has a great bonus for this basic recipe. Put him in charge of creating the skewers enough times and he will produce fruity mushroom skewers which give better regeneration than their regular counterpart.

2 Bloodstained Chevalier’s Set

There are a lot of ways to get high-level items in the early game of Genshin Impact that aren’t obvious in the slightest. One of these methods is to visit the cathedral in Monstadt and talk to a nun named Victoria. Victoria will speak to the player and as long as they choose the third dialogue option, she will provide them with a high-level item from the Bloodstained Chevalier’s set.

Upgrading this item at a low level can make the early game a bit easier depending on the character who uses it, and it’s free for the taking with no risk or compensation needed. There are different stats on the items depending on what the player gets but if they’re lucky, they could receive a part of the set that boosts base attack damage, leading to high base physical damage, which is always good to have.

1 Bank Heist

In Liyue, there’s a bank that is marked with a diamond icon in the main town area. Players will have to navigate their way up some stairs that loop around to find the entrance, which is marked by an NPC named Nadia, who guards the door. Once inside, take the stairs to the right of the front desk and follow them all the way up. At the top of the stairs is a chest that contains 200,000 Mora.

Depending on when players find this, it might seem trivial to get that much Mora since it doesn’t do much at low levels. This secret is great when players need that extra bit of money to help them upgrade their characters and weapons since those processes consume Mora, as well as upgrade materials. It’s a bank heist without all the guilt!
