Cyberpunk 2077 1.11 Update Fixes Major Game-Breaking Bug

Ever since Cyberpunk 2077 launched, many players have had their experience with the game marred by technical issues, glitches, and game-breaking bugs. Some of these bugs are bad to the point where players can’t progress through certain quests in Cyberpunk 2077. Luckily, the developers have released a new hotfix for the game that fixes one of these aforementioned game-breaking bugs.

It’s clear that Cyberpunk 2077 got off to a rocky start, and in a lot of ways it still suffers from many of the same issues players have been facing since the game launched. However, what is equally clear is that CD Projekt Red wants to fix the game and deliver the experience players wanted. The hotfix that was shipped earlier today is proof of that.

Earlier today, CD Projekt Red put out Update 1.11 on all its platforms. The update fixes an issue with item randomization, but perhaps the most important part of the update is that it fixes the Takemura Holocall bug that has plagued a number of players. For most people, the NPC said nothing on the call, and therefore, players were unable to end the quest, but this new update fixes this problem.

It’s nice to see that CD Projekt Red has continued to remain reactive in terms of the problems players are facing with Cyberpunk 2077. While most would argue that the game is still not at its most optimized state, the roadmap that CD Projekt Red has provided in terms of Cyberpunk 2077 should help the studio to fix a lot of the ongoing issues the game possesses.

A lot of players are still struggling even after the release of Update 1.10 of Cyberpunk 2077, but at the very least CD Projekt Red is still trying to get the situation under the control. The issues that the game possesses are still momentous in scale, but then again, players would certainly be reacting a lot differently if the studio put the game out and then chose to leave it unfixed.

There’s a reason why so many people were disappointed by the Silent Hill HD Collection and it’s the fact that to this day, there are numerous technical issues with the game that never got fixed. At least with Cyberpunk 2077, the developers are doing everything they can to assure players that the game is actively getting fixed.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming in 2021.
