Even a year after its release date, Control has maintained a steady interest within the community for its stunning visuals and atmosphere. Even recently, Control has been re-released for next-gen consoles to push the already high standard the game set.
Fans of the game know that as fun as it is, there are also plenty of mysteries in Control with the objects of power, which also adds to the game’s appeal for many people. A lot of the mission objectives in the game are not as straightforward as typical third-person shooter fans are accustomed to.
One mission, in particular, the “Luck & Probability” Room, is a mystery that involves a couple of vague steps that can seem confusing to gamers. So for fans looking for a little extra assistance with this Control puzzle and unlocking the nifty Golden Suit outfit, here are the necessary steps to complete it.
To start, head to the Central Research Area in Control‘s Research Sector. Go to the top of the stairs and levitate into the opening on the wall next to the tree. Players should land in a long hallway with a save point to their left, leading into the Luck & Probability Room.
For these following steps, it is crucial that gamers follow the sequence exactly if they want to get a seven on the roulette table. First, go into the room on the right with the bright yellow walls and activate all four of the desk lamps in the room. Next, go back into the first room and grab the little plant in the white box off the desk hugging the sidewall.
Bring the plant back into the yellow room and place it in the white box on the desk next to the roulette table. Then, go back into the first room and activate the two Newton’s Cradles that are sitting on the desks. Lastly, walk around to the other desk with the lucky cat machine on it and turn that on as well.
After following all these steps in order, gamers should go back into the yellow room and use the roulette table. Just make sure to step off of the red carpet by the time the table stops spinning, or else it won’t land on a seven and players won’t receive the prize. Once completed, fans should be awarded two ability points and a new Golden Suit outfit for Jesse Faden to wear.
