Call of Duty: Warzone Patch May Have Made Operator Challenge Errors Even Worse

In the never-ending cycle of Call of Duty: Warzone patches and bugs, a new update has fixed one feature while breaking another. Call of Duty: Warzone fans have grown accustomed to bugs within the game as the developers seem to be struggling to repair ongoing issues. Although Activision is increasing their anti-cheat efforts, there are still many other issues that will require the company’s attention before the game is stabilized once again.

So far, the Call of Duty: Warzone community has survived the worst parts of the infinite stim glitch, and the problems from integration have passed. Now, the title is working on repairing lingering issues from before the update with mixed results. Although they have repaired the operator challenges, they have broken something vital in the process of completing them.

Reddit user fr0stehsnew pointed out the problem on the official Call of Duty: Warzone Reddit page. Although Raven Software has introduced a patch for the Operator challenges, now the players can not access the Operator tab. In the video shared, the player demonstrates that all the tabs work except for the Operators tab, which bumps players back to the main menu. While the patch does repair the operator challenges, it now instead locks players out of changing their operators or viewing the current challenge’s progress.

Fan reception to the video is fairly blunt as many players are calling Raven Software one of the “worst developers in CoD history.” This is due to the constant inability to fix persisting Call of Duty: Warzone issues and the damage caused by supposed fixes minutes after their application. Call of Duty: Warzone fans spend most of the thread criticizing Raven Software, and it is obvious that they are unsure if a fix will be coming any time soon.

Call of Duty: Warzone has come a long way over the last year. Back in 2020, the game was hailed as one of the best FPS titles on the market, but now players and streamers are abandoning the game. Call of Duty: Warzone will need to make some rapid improvements if they are to survive the coming year and future integrations.

While Raven Software works on repairing bugs, Activision has increased their anti-cheat measures. Massive ban waves and more activity with reports are reassuring the Call of Duty: Warzone community that the hacker problem is being handled. Several streamers have returned, and many fans are breathing a sigh of relief as to the lack of hacker interference.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
