Dead by Daylight Adds More Stranger Things Skins | Game Rant

The TV show Stranger Things debuted in 2016 on Netflix and became one of its most-watched shows, receiving critical acclaim. The supernatural horror cast made a great addition to the horror title Dead by Daylight, which features both original characters and horror icons like Freddy Kreuger, Ghostface, Michael Myers, Pyramid Head, and more. In September 2019, the cast of Stranger Things was added to the title with the Demogorgon becoming a new killer, along with Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler being playable survivors.

Now, developer Behaviour Interactive is announcing new skins for the Stranger Things cast in the Dead by Daylight “Moments of Growth” outfit collection, which will add cosmetics for the Demogorgon and the teenage Stranger Things survivors. The collection will be available through the in-game store and will feature different hairstyles and outfits for Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, and an horrific skin for the Demogorgon.

The new Demogorgon skin, the Geo Mutation, will give the killer stone-like pieces protruding from its body and comes with Rock Jaw, Armored Plate, and Crag Claw. While the Demogorgon’s new outfit may have players screaming at the sight of it, the new outfits for Steve and Nancy are a little more classy.

Steve Harrington‘s Highschool Hunk outfit features Harrington’s signature hairstyle, matched with a striped polo and khaki pants that really show off the “popular high school kid” look. Nancy’s Days of Rose outfit gives her a pulled-back hairstyle, a pink cardigan, and an Indiana pink skirt to match. Although the survivor outfits do not seem fit to run from the Demogorgon, they will definitely still look good doing it.

Dead by Daylight recently updated, adding improvements to the game’s graphics and UI. The update also changed player HUDs, implemented graphic overhauls on two major maps, and provided a much smoother experience with new survivor and killer animations.

Dead by Daylight fans can grab the Stranger Things DLC to unlock the cast and then return to the shop to pick up the Moments of Growth collection to unlock the three new skins. Players can also grab the newest killer and survivor DLC, The Binding of Kin, which features the terrifying killers The Twins, and Elodie Rakoto as the new survivor. Dead by Daylight has added many new characters and the horror title now boasts 22 playable killers and 24 playable survivors. Some characters, like the Stranger Things cast, need to be unlocked through DLC, but will make games more interesting.

Dead by Daylight is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
