After years of waiting, the long-awaited horror game sequel Little Nightmares 2 has finally been released for fans. Even though it just came out, it is arguably one of the biggest game releases of February 2021.
Many fans of the Little Nightmares series will remember that there are plenty of collectibles in the first game, which carries into the sequel. One of these being little hats that the main protagonist can wear.
In total, there are about 12 hats in Little Nightmares 2, and players are lucky to already start with the Paper Bag Hat as a default. For players looking to find the other hats, here are the locations for all the collectible hats in the game.
For one of the first hats to find in chapter one of Little Nightmares 2, after reaching the house and entering the kitchen, go down the hallway and enter the left room. The Racoon Hat will be on the floor in the middle of the room.
This second hat can only be attained through the Nome’s Attic DLC. After climbing into the attic to find the key, a nome will run past the player and go into the left. After solving puzzles and navigating through the darkness, the nome will eventually lead the player to the hat.
After running away from the man with the shotgun, jump across the broken bridge. There should be many trees with cages, climb up on top and jump onto the hanging cage on the left. Once there, jump on it a few times to knock it down, and the rain hat should be inside.
For the second chapter of Little Nightmares 2, gamers should find a city street with a nearby playground after navigating through the nightmarish school. There should be a soccer ball hat on top of the dumpster.
Once players reach the library, there should be a rolling ladder that immediately comes into view. Move the ladder over one shelf and climb on top; the tin can hat should be found on the fifth row.
Upon reaching the hospital, go through the X-ray room puzzle in Little Nightmares 2 until finding the nursery. There should be a shelf in the back right corner of the room, climb on top, and the Teddy Bear Hat should be on the very top.
After the encounter with the doctor, players should fall into the morgue. In there, go left of the dissection table and open the bottom cabinet. The bandage hat should be inside.
For the first hat in chapter four, in the Pale City mailroom, jump on the pile of letters to find the secret tunnel. Go through until there is a little room with the Postman Hat within.
This hat can be found upon reaching the toy store in chapter four. Push the shopping cart inside to the far left until it hits a shelf and climb on top. Navigate to the back corner of the frame, and the Baker Boy Hat should be there.
The Mokujin Hat can be bought as downloadable content through a player’s respective game store.
The final hat can only be earned after beating the last chapter of the game.
Little Nightmares 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions also in development.
