As the service has continued to grow into one of Microsoft’s most essential assets, Xbox Game Pass has cultivated a wide library of games that players can access for one fixed monthly cost. From Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Gears 5 to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Doom Eternal, the list of titles currently available on Game Pass are incredibly varied, offering a little something for everyone.
The subscription service will be getting even more games over the next two weeks, with Microsoft announcing today that it’s lined up 7 new experiences on Xbox, PC, and Cloud Gaming. As announced via Xbox Wire, Code Vein’s PC port, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, and Wreckfest will launch on February 18, Killer Queen will hit on February 23, and Dirt 5, Elite Dangerous, and Superhot: Mind Control Delete’s PC port will land on February 25.
The biggest name is likely Dirt 5, which will be hitting consoles, PC, and Cloud. Codemasters‘ fifth iteration of its popular off-road racing game, Dirt 5 launched last year to great reviews, with critics praising its visual fidelity and slick driving. Its Xbox Series X port was a big selling point upon release and is sure to entice owners of the next-generation platform looking to hop into something that utilizes the console’s powerful specs.
Superhot: Mind Control Delete and Code Vein will be coming to the PC version of Game Pass and are equally as exciting. The former is a follow-up to smash-hit indie game Superhot, which sees players enter a series of action-packed levels where time only moves when they do. The idea turned the game into an indie classic and this expansion offers more of its chaotic, time-bending combat. Code Vein, on the other hand, is a dystopian, soulslike action RPG that has generated quite a following since its release. Both titles are already available on the console version of Game Pass, so now PC players will be able to try them out.
As for what will be skipping PC, Elite Dangerous, Killer Queen Black, and Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire will all be hitting Xbox One and Series X (with the latter two also coming to Cloud). Elite Dangerous is a popular MMO sci-fi flight game, seeing players transfer cargo across the vast reaches of space alongside other players. As for Killer Queen Black, it’s a strategic, multiplayer, combat platformer that sees players use tactics to claim victory for their hive. Then there’s Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, which is a top-down RPG by Obsidian Entertainment. It follows players embarking on a seafaring adventure where the decisions they make will affect the world around them.
Finally, there’s Wreckfest, which is coming to console, PC, and Cloud. It’s regarded as the spiritual sequel to FlatOut and a high-octane demolition derby game that allows players to engage in giant, car-crashing spectacles or race in more traditional track-based gameplay.
