The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War glitch revolves around Zombies’ Firebase Z map. When a player enters the map, they need to gather enough points to purchase the Tombstone Soda. This item allows players to revive themselves after death with all their weapons and gear. Once obtained, players allow the last zombie in the match to down them and wait until the tombstone counter starts to lower. Once it is about to run out, players kill the last zombies to end the round and trigger the respawn simultaneously. Once completed, players achieve god-mode.
At this point, players should strive for the power generator and Pack-a-Punch weapon as these will be harder to acquire later on. After this, players need only create a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Cymbal Monkey and have the game’s host throw the monkey at the wall in the weapons lab.
Right before it hits the ground, everyone in the game should quit. This triggers the monkey to disappear, but the zombies are constantly drawn to the spot it was going to land. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombie fans can, at this point, gun down the undead and score easy critical hits and XP.
It is advised not to proceed with this glitch, but it is a good example of player ingenuity when it comes to exploits. This complicated process allows players access to theoretically unlimited XP, and this can end up affecting other game modes and player ranks.
