FIFA 21 Ultimate Team: Team Of The Week 20 Highlights And Snubs

It has already been 20 weeks since the release of Fifa 21, and the newest team of the week is one of the best thus far. With five players 85 rated or better, clubs will have a chance to pack valuable players throughout the week. With so many challenges and rewards this year, almost every club will have some spare coins lying around.

Gamers should wait for a happy hour and try their luck in the store. Players that do not enjoy the thrill of gambling away their hard-earned coins will have plenty of pack opportunities with the start of season four in Ultimate Team.

Sterling, Depay, Oyarzabal, and Varane are the best players in this week’s team. Raheem Sterling is the highest-rated card in the squad, with a slight upgrade from his 89 rated Team of The Group Stage card. Sterling has impressive stats across the board with 95 pace and 92 dribbling with equally imposing shooting and passing stats. The combination of 98 acceleration and 96 agility will be lethal in seasons and FUT champs. As with almost every Sterling card, he will be pushed off the ball in certain scenarios. The card only has 66 strength and 60 aggression, so clubs should expect the card to get bullied near the box. Sterling has four-star skill moves, which can help players avoid opposing defenders. The 90 rated winger will cost clubs at least 500,000 coins.

Depay has been a menace in recent years with excellent speed, shooting, dribbling, passing, and physical traits. Memphis also has five-star skills, which are extremely helpful in competitive matches. The card has high to low work rates and seemingly every relevant stat in the 80s. With pace, balance, and strength all in the 80s, opposing defenders will struggle to contain the speedy Dutchman. Depay’s price will be high, and players that pack him can enjoy at least a few hundred thousand coins. He is currently listed between 200,000 and 400,000 coins on the market.

Players that have Oyarzabal’s headliners card were happy to see that he now has a second in form this season. The card is good, but Oyarzabal suffers from having only three-star skills and just 61 strength. Oyarzabal’s 86 pace will probably not be enough to run past defenders, and his low strength will result in turnovers. FUT clubs will make some money off of the 87 rated winger, but there are a number of cheaper and better options for players that would like to improve their Ultimate Team. 50,000 coins is far too expensive for the Spanish winger.

Varane’s ridiculous base card just got even better with +1 pace, +1 defending, and +2 physical. With pace, defending, and physical stats in the 80s, Varane is one of the top non-icon cards in the game. Mbappe, Messi, and Ronaldo will have no chance against the French brick wall. Opposing teams may as well disconnect when they see Varane in their loading screen. The amazing defender will cost players between 600,000 and one million coins.

Rebic and Morales look like excellent options on the left side of the pitch. Both cards are fast, agile, and have double four-star attributes. Kimpembe and Paulista are very good defenders with balanced stats despite not being quite as quick as Varane. Diaby and Almiron appear to be the best affordable sleeper picks this week. Almiron has excellent pace, dribbbling, and passing for an 82 rated player. Likewise, Diaby has 96 pace with 87 dribbling and four-star skills. FUT clubs that are low on coins should be able to afford the speedy attackers who are under 30,000 coins on the market.

Another week has gone by and Gundogan still does not have a TOTW in form. The German midfielder has been solid all season but keeps getting excluded each week. However, EA has decided to award the player a MOTM as a consolation. Expect a few in forms from the crafty German who has been consistent week in and week out for Manchester City.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored is 500th club goal this past week against Crotone. The 39-year-old Swedish star finished with a brace as Milan ran circles around the Crotone defense. It was a surprise to many that the aging striker did not receive an in form for a fantastic performance on a record day. Regardless, a second in-form Zlatan would be far too slow to use in-game, as his first in form has only 58 pace. While Ibra may be old, he still has enough quickness to win matches for Milan.

Sebastian Coates was also left out of this weeks team despite scoring two goals in under eight minutes. The Sporting center back certainly deserved an upgraded card after a masterful performance this week. It seems that EA will continue the trend of excluding players in lesser-known leagues.
