Details for the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War battle pass have been released, and fans get an early look at the action to come. Skins, weapon blueprints, and other cosmetic rewards are dominating the battle pass this season, with a few secrets hidden among its tiers. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans have 100 new levels to unlock with free content scattered throughout so every player can get involved.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War‘s Multiplayer and Zombies has tons of wild action headed to players. A new assault rifle and SMG are included and can be earned completely free for anyone who participates. During the first two weeks of Season 2, players can also enjoy new bundles along with a familiar face from the Dark Aether timeline.
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 content introduces reactive blueprints to the game. For purchasing the battle pass, players can automatically unlock the new operator Naga along with a new Park Operator Skin and the Wellington Safari Watch. As an added bonus, players who purchase the Season 2 battle pass gain a 10% increase to XP gain for the entire season. Players can also earn two free weapons with the FARA 83 Assault Rifle at Tier 15 and the LC10 SMG at Tier 31. These two weapons are designed to up any player’s arsenal and dominate the battlefield in multiplayer, Zombies, and battle royale environments.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 skins include the Renegade skin for Adler at Tier 20 and the Coyote Dust skin for Powers at Tier 70. Designed for tropical insertion, these skins can help settle the dust as they take to a new environment of warfare. Further, a new Tactical Roll finishing move can be unlocked at Tier 19 for a variant melee option to bring down enemies in style.
The battle pass also includes several weapon blueprints and war tracks, but players are mainly excited for the Tier 95 Reactive weapon. This is the first reactive camo to be added, and it displays player skill in real-time by pulsating green across an image of a skeletal bird. As players earn kills, the pulse turns from green to blue, then orange, and eventually red as players rack up kills throughout a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer match.
Prior to the season, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans have a chance to browse store highlights and extra content. While it is still too early to tell, many are expecting this season to be well received by the game’s dedicated population.
