Assassin’s Creed Valhalla comes with an epic-sized map that’s peppered with hidden locations that tuck away all manners of secrets and treasures. The River Severn Gear locations are some of the most difficult to find. Therefore, players will need to have a fevered interest and sharp eyes if they want to fully complete Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The River Severn Gear locations are spread out pretty far apart, but in the end, it’ll be worth the effort.
Players will be able to find this new gear during the “Treasure of River Severn” quest that was added during the “River Raids” update. What’s unique about the River Severn Gear locations is that it spawns randomly in certain areas. Therefore, there’s not a specific treasure chest sitting in a particular spot perpetually. They move around and players will need to use “Odin’s Sight” in order to sniff out the treasure during the raids. One thing that’s for sure, the gear can be found within military locations that are scattered throughout the rivers.
For this mission to begin, players will need to speak to Vagn and start-up the “River of Severn Map.” There will be two specific pieces of the River Severn Gear to find in order to complete this task. The specific piece of gear that players will be looking for will be the “St. George Armor Set.” The major spots that players should be focusing on are:
- Lowlands Camp
- Island Camp
- Western Fortification
- Eastern Fortification
- Small Camps
It has been documented that most players have found “St. George’s Bracers” over at the Eastern Fortification. Therefore, it’s advised to go there first and see if it’s there. Be sure to use “Odin’s Sight” to pinpoint this particular treasure and save some time from running around. Also, using Synin to crop out all the goods that are laying about within these camps will also help the raids be organized.
The other piece of River Severn Gear will be the “St. George’s Trousers.” This will most likely be found at the Island Camp that’s spotted on the Southeastern portion of the map. Since there’s only limited space to store up inventory during the raids, players will be forced to go back and forth between these rivers to unload. This will be a good opportunity to keep trying new places and look around for the River Severn Gear in other places if the first location choices didn’t pan out.
