Pokemon GO March 2021 Legendary and Mega Raid Rotation and Schedule

A new season is arriving in Pokemon GO and some of the most exciting features are going to come from top tier Battle Raids. The Season of Legends, as the name implies, is putting a focus on the Legendary aspect of PoGO gameplay and that means rolling out some exciting Legendary and Mega Raids to get players out and battling in the mobile AR game.

Throughout March 2021 there are going to be some very exciting opportunities to encounter new Legendary forms by completing Battle Raids. While February 2021 was really a throwback Legendary month that focused on the earliest generation of Legendaries, March is heading in the other direction and bringing Landorus and Thundurus into the Pokemon GO spotlight.

That’s just the start of the excitement though. March 2021 is also bringing some Mega Raid changes to the schedule, including the chance to throwdown against Mega Houndoom, Mega Abomasnow, and a surprise Mega-Evolved Pokémon. The surprise Mega bosses seem to be becoming a bit a recurring monthly theme, so it will be exciting to watch the predictions roll in and see who the new boss actually ends up being when mid-March arrives…

Mega Houndoom, Mega Abomasnow, and a surprise Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids starting Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

As always, it’s possible that additional Battle Raids may show up as surprise events come and go throughout the coming month. Keep an eye on the nearby radar for anything particularly exciting or surprising as February kicks off next week.

Over the next week or so players should begin to learn a lot more about what other events are on the way throughout the Season of Legends. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
