The latest installment in the Harvest Moon series is almost here. After three years since Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, Natsume’s beloved farming simulator is back. After splitting from the original Story of Seasons developers, fans are hoping Natsume is able to live up to the Harvest Moon name with their latest adventure. Featuring new lands to explore, animals to herd, and crops to collect, Harvest Moon: One World is shaping up to be one of the most expansive in the franchise. With Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town around the corner, Harvest Moon: One World has to stand out among the competition. What better way to do so than with a fresh batch of bachelors?
Each new Harvest Moon game released gives players new content to enjoy. The most important content to many fans being the new line of romanceable characters to court. From humble farm boys to care-free fishermen, there is plenty of variety among Harvest Moon: One World‘s lineup of bachelors.
5 Kanoa
Not much is known about the happy-go-lucky fisherman since he’s always lazing about his home of Halo Halo (named after the frozen Filipino dessert). His warm personality reflects the hot temperature around him, while his personality is as chill as can be. Kanoa’s head is often up in the clouds, and he can be unaware of what’s happening around him: including the player’s affection. With some time and patience, Kanoa proves himself to be a productive and hard worker when he’s not lounging around Halo Halo. He might not sweat the small stuff, but his love for the player is anything but laid-back.
Kanoa sports red, palm leaf printed pants that match his fiery hair and personality. He wears an unbuttoned vest the reveals a fish hook necklace and a tattoo on his upper arm.
4 Jamil
Like Braden, Jamil loves animals. However, Jamil loves animals so much that he may be oblivious to the player’s advances. The key to unlocking Jamil’s affection is through his desire to learn more about animals all over the world. Being from the desert land of Pastilla, Jamil is excited to meet animals from around the world. Players should diversify their farm to show Jamil their care about his interests, and soon he’ll start caring about the player. Win him over with knowledge of the animal kingdom and players will find themselves with a suitable and compassionate partner.
Jamil has kind blue eyes and chin-length black hair. He wears a long green cloak with ornate golden details on its trim that is tied together by red and blue fabric.
3 Sami
From the reindeer-infested land of Salmiakki, Sami is an ice-cold bachelor with a heart needing to be thawed. With a lot of responsibilities resting on his shoulders, Sami is a hard heart to unfreeze. From leading his village to herding rambunctious reindeer, Sami hardly has the time for love. He’s best friends with Kirsi, so getting to know her may help the player understand Sami more. With help and patience from the player, Sami’s cold heart will melt when they help him shoulder his responsibilities. Once players prove their affection they’ll soon be worthy of this cold leader’s warm heart.
Sami has long, cold blonde hair and chilling green eyes. He dons a winter coat with a grey pattern, and in place of a tie, Sami has a bright red scarf around his neck that makes his outfit pop.
2 Tristan
The workaholic bread-maker, Tristan, is a worthy husband for the hard-working farmer. His quiet demeanor can make him awkward at times, but the player will eventually bring out the best in him. Tristan wants to live up to his father’s name and bake unforgettable bread for his village and sister, Laura. With the crops in the world diminishing, the glory of Tristan’s family bakery is losing its shine. Support Tristan in his love of bread and fight to save his bakery and players will be rewarded with an unforgettable romance. With this incredible baker at the player’s side, there aren’t any obstacles the two can’t overcome.
Tristan wears a decently fancy get-up. He wears a purple vest with gold detailing that covers a white dress shirt. A black ascot sits on his neck in place of a tie, and the cuffs of his pants have the same gold details as his shirt.
1 Braden
Hailing from Callison, a small village amongst vibrant green farmland, is none other than Braden. This bachelor is surly and stoic, which may be offputting at first, but that’s all a part of his charm. Under his hardened exterior, Braden is a kind and caring man. He fears losing his farm and the animals he loves which causes him stress. Helping Braden take care of his farm is a one-way ticket to taking care of his heart. With time, his walls will break down and players will find themselves with an incredibly caring partner.
Braden has strong broad shoulders covered by a green shirt and a durable brown vest, with belts that go around his waist, making his outfit efficient for carrying all the tools he’d need for farming.
