Stardew Valley: How to Sell Weapons and Other Items | Game Rant

Stardew Valley may have begun life as something of a cute farming game, but over the years, it has grown into a sprawling title where players can make friends, turn their farm into a cash-making machine, and have all manner of adventures. While it may not seem like weapons would be important in a game about farming, they are an essential part of life for all players who want to ensure their farm’s success.

Weapons can drop from monsters, be found in chests in the mines, or be purchased from the Adventurer’s Guild. After some time in the game, players may have a growing stock of weapons that they no longer need and will be looking for a way to trade them in for some quick cash. They may also want to make some inventory space for the new Infinity weapons that have been added to the game.

The only place that players can offload their old weapons is at the Adventurer’s Guild; they cannot be sold through the shipping box like other goods and items. The Adventurer’s Guild can be found to the east of the mines and is home to Marlon and Gil. Players will be able to sell excess weapons, boots, and rings to the Adventurer’s Guild for different sums of gold, and the Guild is open from 2:00 pm to 10:oo pm. The only weapons that cannot be sold to the Guild are Slingshots. Players who are considering exploring the best Stardew Valley mods for the game may want to hold on to their excess rings, as mods can be used to add more ring slots to one’s character.

The rarer and more powerful the weapon, ring, or boots, the more money can be gotten for it at the Adventurer’s Gold, but players should always be certain they actually wish to sell something before parting with it, as getting it again can be expensive. Stardew Valley‘s Adventurer’s Guild also provides players with one more vital feature, an item recovery service.

Any player who is unfortunate enough to pass out from low health in the Quarry Mine, Mines, Volcano Dungeon, or Skull Cavern can recover one lost item for a fee. The items will stay in the recovery until the next time they pass out, so players will need to decide if another journey to try and recover everything is worth it or if they want to grab one essential item from their lost loot.

Once players have sold off their excess weapons and items, they can then get back to important farm business, like making truffle oil, feeding their animals, and taking care of the endless rotation of crops that will need attention.

Stardew Valley is available on mobile devices, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
