After making some progress in Genshin Impact‘s Perfect Send-Off quest, players will find themselves in a room with an impassable door and a blue orb situated at its center. To get through that door, fans will need to complete a short puzzle during the “follow the path to the border” quest step, and getting that done can be a bit confusing. Fortunately, players should be able to easily complete the Hu Tao puzzle in Genshin Impact with just the bit of instruction that is contained within this guide.
To get right to it, Genshin Impact players should begin by grabbing the aforementioned blue orb and heading south toward the doorway with the spiderweb hanging from it. After destroying that web, fans should continue along the path that is in front of them, jumping down into the water when that becomes the only option. From there, players should swim into the nearby cave and make their way forward until they are able to climb back onto land.
Players should now proceed onward and burn the bramble that looks to prevent their passage when they reach it. Just past that bramble, fans should turn to their left and continue forward toward some boxes and a large door. This door is not locked like the one at the center of this Genshin Impact puzzle, though, and players should approach to force it open and then pass through to enter a room that houses a green portal.
At this point, fans should once again turn toward their left and head down a set of stairs to get back to the room that they started in. This room is not exactly the same as it was when the player left it, though, as a second blue orb will have appeared in the center. Fans should now grab this new orb and illuminate the two lanterns that flank the closed door to solve the Hu Tao dungeon puzzle in Genshin Impact and release the lock.
To note, completion of this puzzle does not mark the end of the Perfect Send-Off quest, as indeed there are a couple of steps left. That said, these steps are primarily comprised of navigating to waypoints and watching cutscenes, and there is nothing quite as tricky as getting the locked door open. As such, players should find it quite simple to finish off this new Genshin Impact quest once they are done following the path to the border.
