Like it or not, heists have become a primary means of earning an income in GTA Online. Since the first heists update arrived back in 2015, players have completed heists nonstop to gain massive amounts of money. After Rockstar brought the first batch of heists to GTA, multiple have follows that have brought players to new heights and exotic locations.
Each new update has brought more vehicles, weapons, and cash to the game for players to buy and grind. These updates have been some of the best, so it is only fair to go over which one of them has been the best overall.
5 How To Complete Heists
Completing the heists that were added in each update can be a little tricky if a player is new. The original heist update requires players to own a High-End Apartment. Players who are interested in completing the Doomsday Heist will need to purchase a Facility. The Cayo Perico Heist requires players to own the Kosatka submarine and complete the initial start-up mission to get to the island. Lastly, The Diamond Casino Heist will require players to purchase the Arcade property. Whatever heist a player wishes to take part in will also require completion of multiple setup missions.
4 Cayo Perico Heist
The newest heist mission where players visit Cayo Perico to rob El Rubio of his millions may be the highest paying heist yet, but it’s not the most plentiful. There is no doubt that this heist is great, but it didn’t introduce a ton of new items to the game.
In terms of new items, this update added twenty new vehicles, one hundred and ten clothing items, and three new weapons. This update also brought a long-awaited change to the radio by adding three new stations. It also brought a few new jobs that players can complete for the Music Locker.
3 Diamond Casino Heist Update
The Diamon Casino Heist update brought many new items to the online mode of GTA V. Starting with the new properties, the update brought in arcades for players to purchase and use as part of the heist. Players can also earn passive income, however, it is small. Along with the new properties, this update brought in another twenty vehicles, signal jammers, over two hundred clothing items, and three new weapons. Those items are just touching on the biggest parts of the update. Even more was added including jobs, a radio station, and NPCs.
2 Doomsday Heist Update
The Doomsday Heist may just be one of the most annoying of the heists when it comes to the setup, but it brought more to the game than the previous updates in this list. This update brought some fan-favorite vehicles like the Deluxo flying car along with twenty-nine other vehicles.
This heist update also brought in facility property type to use for the heist. Other parts of this update included seven weapons, over two hundred clothing items, and a slew of new NPCs. The Doomsday Heist could still have been a little better though.
1 Heists Update
The update that started it all, the Heists Update is perhaps the most important and noteworthy update ever added to GTA Online. This update gave players a new weapon, twenty new vehicles, over one hundred clothing items, and the planning room in the High-End Apartments. The best part about this update was the heists themselves. There were five full heists added to this DLC, The Fleeca Job, Prison Break, Humane Labs Raid, Series A Funding, and Pacific Standard Job. These heists brought new ways for players to make money and has got to be the biggest heist update Rockstar has ever had.
