Dragon Ball Demon Breaker Releases New Demo Trailer | Game Rant

The dedicated and talented fans at the SaiyaSlash Team are hard at work making their dream of a Devil May Cry inspired Dragon Ball game a reality, and fans are closer to it now than ever before. Dragon Ball Demon Breaker is a new take on the iconic franchise, putting players in control of Trunks as he battles legions from the Demon Realm, and soon fans will get to try their hand at the combat system themselves. A demo is releasing sometime this month, and to commemorate that there’s a new trailer showing off a little of what fans can expect.

This demo will only be a small portion of the full Dragon Ball Demon Breaker experience, so fans shouldn’t expect to tackle the entire Saiyan Palace this month. With the full game releasing in March, this will serve as a way for players to become more familiar with the project and for the SaiyaSlash Team to get valuable feedback from players about what works and what doesn’t.

In the trailer, fans see a short clip of Future Trunks doing battle with four Demon Realm soldiers, not unlike some of the gameplay that’s already been shown. However, since this is likely footage taken directly from the demo build, it does confirm a few things that players will have access to. First of all, it seems that players will be able to use both Trunks’ base form and his Super Saiyan form in this demo, a feature that works similarly to style changes in Devil May Cry. Players can switch between these two forms seamlessly at any point in time.

There are also a few things that aren’t shown in the demo trailer, such as Trunks’ Super Saiyan God form or assists from Goku and Vegeta. It’s unclear whether or not these features will be available to players this month or not, but fans should be prepared for the possibility that they won’t be. Regardless, fans of Trunks and Dragon Ball as a whole are no doubt thrilled to get their hands on this impressive fan project, and the release date for the demo should be revealed sometime soon.

In the description of the video, the SaiyaSlash team reaffirms that the Dragon Ball Demon Breaker demo will be made available this month, although it doesn’t give a specific release date just yet. Additionally, it advises fans to stay tuned in the coming months, as another big wave of information will be revealed soon.

Dragon Ball Demon Breaker is in development now and scheduled for release in the Summer of 2021.
