Kingdom Hearts followers are known to be some of the more passionate of fans. Ever since the first Kingdom Hearts released in 2002, the series has grown in popularity and so has its fanbase. Along with the games, a seemingly endless amount of non-gaming content has popped up over the years involving the series from books to apparel. And now, fans of Kingdom Hearts can add something very unique to their collection if they so choose: silverware.
The biggest of Kingdom Hearts enthusiasts will likely want to jump on the opportunity to purchase utensils based on the game. However, one glance at the elegant design may sway even those who are less passionate to be interested, as the silverware does not seem gaudy by any means. The Kingdom Hearts utensils are designed to look like various styles of Sora’s famous Keyblades.
The Kingdom Hearts Fork and Spoon Set appeared on Square Enix’s website recently and is available to pre-order now. The items should arrive in August of 2021. There are many different styles, including the Kingdom Key, Heart, and Crown. Additionally, they come in varied finishes including a traditional silver, gold, and a tone closer to black. Each pair costs $29.99 USD.
On top of the utensil option, there is also a placemat that costs $19.99. All in all, the product seems like a wonderful fit for the Kingdom Heart enthusiast. The series seems like a perfect fit for this idea. While a franchise like Halo or Uncharted has a massive fan base, finding a way to make an Energy Sword utensil seems more like a cereal box idea than an elegant dinnerware addition. Kingdom Hearts and its Keylabdes may be the perfect fit for something like this simplistic but stylish utensil set.
